I was told by my home-warranty company that someone would call me by end of business “tomorrow”. I am unsure what end of business means to Manny but I waited for two days and on the second day I called the phone number that was given to me around 6pm and it was a cell phone of some guy. It took me be back that a company certified by a home warranty company didn’t have a legitimate phone number or answering service but nevertheless I left a message. I still did not receive a call back until the following day, which was the weekend. When he called back I tried to answer his very few questions and explain everything. However, he seemed so disinterested that it was like speaking to a wall. He finally cut me off and said do you have time right now. I was ecstatic and said yes. Again, Manny showed up obviously annoyed. Looking completely disheveled and irritated that he was even there. It would be my contention that he knew I asked the Home-Warranty company to pick another company because this one does not have a proper phone number, doesn’t call or return calls but of course there is no way for me to know that for sure. I explained that I had vents shut in other rooms to get the airflow in the main room to come out. He didn’t respond or ask what rooms or how many. Manny didn’t have a temperature gauge so he didn’t point it at any vent. He only came into the main room. He didn’t look at anything. He turned my Thermostat down to 65 degrees walked outside near the unit for maybe three minutes and walked back in. He then said “you know what I am going to do, I’m going to send someone else out.” I thought this was odd but said ok. As he was walking out he mumbled something incoherently that sounded a lot like there isn’t anything wrong. So I asked in a civil, polite tone “are you saying there is nothing wrong” Manny then turned around now that he was outside my home and yelled (for no apparent reason) “Yeah that’s what I just said to you”, I was taken aback. My 6 year old daughter was inside sitting on the couch and for the life of me have no idea what initiated that outburst. I said that’s a real classy thing to say and closed the door. Never have a seen someone or experienced someone that called themselves a professional act in such a way. It would be my opinion that no way would Manny speak to someone that was paying him. However, since it was through the home warranty he felt that he could speak to me in any fashion he wanted. I was treated as if I was insignificant and wouldn’t want anyone to go through what I did with this person. I am not done yet. I will be writing several more letters to ensure that this type of behavior is not invited into anyone else’s home.
Manny was professional and arrived quickly to fix my air conditioner. He answered all my questions and help me understand the process. I felt like I got the best service ever. Thank you
Manny replace my AC unit in a timely manner he was also very prompt and getting back to me when I called and keept me in the loop about anything that was being done !(((update after my AC was fixed I stared to notice that each time we had heavy rain my light fixture would leak witch is right under the AC unite but since we don’t have much rain I kinda didn’t bother too much well now I notice water damage in my daughters roof and finally contacted a roofer who told me not enough seal was put around it he took pictures is on bath sides of the AC unite one side is right on top of the light and another right on top of my daughters room )))
