We are first time home buyers and newly weds on a budget. We shopped around and received several quotes for an AC unit and water heater. I told my brother about our astronomically high quotes and the discouragement we were feeling with the whole process, and he was like "Oh I have a guy, call Ralph, let me send you his contact info" and thank God I did! Within 35 minutes I had a quote for multiple scenarios (because the other guys all gave me multiple scenarios) but then he got real and broke down why the other units cost what they cost and after advising of our situation, he actually advised that we go with a lesser priced 16 SEER TRANE unit. We talked through rates of return, true energy efficiency and best value. He also recommended a water heater brand I had never heard of and broke down the other water heaters and why they cost what they cost (By far the best bang for the buck and they average a 4.9 star review over 15k+ reviews when we dug deeper). Not only was Ralph SIGNIFICANTLY and I mean SIGNIFICANTLY, (I'm talking 20% less than our lowest quote but with better equipment) less expensive, he actually cared. It's the little things that make the difference. We had just had some work done to our kitchen sink and it was fixed but left unhooked. I asked if he had a good plumbing guy to refer me too and explained what we needed. I was blown away when he went way above and beyond the line of duty to find that he hooked it up while cooling down from the hour he was in the attic during the first 110 degree day of the year. He treated our home like it was his own. You can really tell he really takes pride in his work. Thank you for all that you do Ralph and team! You all turned an extremely high stress/large financial decision into a cake walk! We are extremely happy with all of your services and will be referring you to anyone/everyone we can!

Kudos to Ralph today. He was unavailable on a very busy day but was willing to telephonically walk me through troubleshooting my problems with installing a Nest thermostat. He predicted that the problem would be an inexpensive air handler fuse that blew.
Because he was unavailable, I had another HVAC contractor show up. Indeed, what Ralph predicted was the problem was indeed the problem. Although he was unable to show up for the job, Ralph checked back with me a few hours later to see if I got my new Nest system up and running and wanted to know if I needed any further assistance. What a class act! I'm not sure why these Google reviews only show 6 reviews while another of his shows over 150 positive reviews. Regardless, Ralph gets two thumbs up and five stars from me for being honest and caring about the welfare of others -- even those who did not hire him. That speaks volumes for his integrity, and I would hire him in the future in a heartbeat.

I had issues with compatibility changing from my Honeywell thermostats to Nest thermostats. Contacted Nest support and though everyone was friendly and very patient they were unable to diagnose a compatibility problem. I had very popular Honeywell thermostats and when wiring the nest, followed all directions. The heat would come on when it was supposed to be cooling. Nest techs Had me trying to switch some wires around but to no avail.
They suggested I either return the Nests or call for a pro to come out. I don't give up that easy so I went on your sight and searched for a "Pro" near me. I found Innovative Air and after reading the reviews on Ralph I felt I found the right guy. I was RIGHT! Ralph over the phone, walked me through the wiring for the Honeywell to Nest. He knew exactly what to do and waited until I tested it. When it still didn't work he asked if the Nest techs had me change any programming for the O/B wire. I told him they did and he walked me through re-programming in about 5 seconds.
Turned it ON and we had COLD AIR!
He never charged me, never came out and fixed what the techs that WORK for Nest couldn't do! I don't know Ralph but he is a very knowledgeable A/C tech and even more so a Smart businessman. I respect that and I will make him the first call when I need A/C repair in the future.

Needed some help installing a nest thermostat. Kept getting an error I couldn’t fix myself (e74). Ralph showed up on time and had things fixed in about 25 minutes. He was professional and courteous. I hope Innovative air does more than just nest installs because they’ll have my business!

I bought a Nest to upgrade my thermostat. I tried to but couldn't install it. After some research and shopping around, I decided to go with Innovative Air, as they were also deemed a "Nest Pro". I scheduled a service call, they said Saturday between 2-3pm. I planned my day accordingly. I went to the gym and they text at 11:50am to tell me they were on their way. I didn't have my phone on me and when I called back an hour later, they said Ralph had already been to my house and we could reschedule because "it would be extremely difficult to come back out to your area today." You know, somewhere around 2-3 like I was originally told. So I cancelled the service call all together without so much the slightest effort to keep the sale or customer.

Ralph was out to fix the fan motor on my condenser. I reached out to InnovativeAir and they responded immediately, they were on time for their appointment and passed on some great tips on how to maintain my HVAC system. Overall, I'm pleased by the work they have done and am happy to have supported a small family business. I will be calling them in the future for my HVAC maintenance and repairs!

Recently, the weather has been getting extremely cold out and my heater went out. Ryan had installed my nest thermostat quite some time but had also mentioned that his company does air conditioning and heating as well. I decided to give them a shot and called the company and they were very quick to get a technician out to diagnose the problem with my heating. They sent Martin out to identify the problem and make repairs. They replaced my capacitor and I was good to go. Thankfully, my house has been a lot warmer. The technicians from this company are always courteous and a pleasure to have out.

Very responsive to email and text. They came out while my wife was home and she felt very comfortable with the guy who arrived. I believe he was the owner. He knew exactly how to fix the issue with the Nest E thermostat and got our heat back on in no time. I would highly recommend Innovative as the default service for any nest related issues. He offered up some advice on the balancing our HVAC as well as giving my wife some info on other services they perform. Another great service by a fantastic local company. We will be using them again in the future.
