Indian air installed our new packaged HVAC/heating unit. They did an excellent job and we have had no issues with the system. We also have used them for our bi-yearly maintenance. They show up on time and get the job done. I highly recommend them.
If it wasn't for Chris who scheduled my service and Able who performed the checkout of my AC, I would be giving this company a 1 star rating. I have an older system of 3 furnaces for our house. (Yes it's a biggie). One of the AC systems is low on R22 refrigerant. I get that this stuff is somewhat scarce but it is still available. A simple Google finds 10lbs of it on Ebay for $245. I was quoted $200 a lb for them to refill my one low system which was estimated to need 5lbs. This is called price gouging folks and I despise people who do it. Especially when they're taking advantage of seniors or low income folks. Yes we have a large home but we sure as heck don't have a large bank account especially on Social Security. So while others may sing their praise I would caution anyone to get additional quotes for the work BEFORE you make any commitments.
I have been using Indian Air for years. They are affordable, prompt and professional. They go out of their way to schedule repairs and service as quickly as possible. This company takes pride in and stands behind their work!
My furnace died today. We live in Chino Valley. We called a local heating and cooling company but they couldn’t come out until Monday. This is Thursday. But if we called back after 5pm they would come out on an emergency basis with a much higher call fee. So....I called “Indian Air Heating and Cooling” in Prescott Valley. They were at my house within about 2 hours. Had it fixed in 1/2 hour. Nicest guys, wore masks and totally respectful. They will be my first call next time.
Indian Air installed new heaters and air conditioners for us several years ago. They have continued to service them for us ever since and have done a good job. Abel (the technician) does a very job and is very courteous. I would certainly hire Indian Air again.
Indian Air services our HVAC system regularly, efficiently and honestly. I strongly recommend them to do equipment replacements and regular maintenance.
My 1 year old Trane Heat Pump suddenly stopped working at 5 pm in the evening. I called the Owner Jason and he sent a tech our right away that diagnosed the problem. Nothing was wrong with the Heat Pump, it was the 25 year old disconnect electrical box that had worn contacts. He had a new disconnect box and fuses in his truck and got me up and running in less than an hour. Thanks for the prompt service!
The techs got here and were very polite and professional. Went right to work to tune up our AC. Besides the tune-up they found a bad capacitor and very dirty coils. Changed the part and cleaned dirt and dust off the coils. Everything else is now ready for another year of service. A little more than we expected, but glad they found the problems early.
Indian Air replaced my heating/cooling unit just over two years ago at a cost of $5,500. Since then they have had to come to my house 3 separate times to repair the unit. Each time out they charge me a service call of $78. Last year they stated the A/C would not come on because the filter was dirty. I understand a dirty filter causes inefficiency but having the unit not start? The other time they had to flip a switch to get it started. Now my heater won't work and while the part is only $40 (and is under warranty) the labor is $375 to install the part. Does this sound like a good deal to anyone? Should a new unit need 3 service calls in a 2 year time span? I am a widow and I think they are taking advantage of me. I would not recommend this company to anyone as they are not a good value to say the least. In fact, I won't have them back, even if it is cold day in Prescott.
Yes you are correct, you were out 4 times in less than 2 years and one was a service call. Then you were out about 2 weeks after the service call because the unit would not start. Asking the public here, should a new unit need 4 calls in less than 2 years? I bought 2 of your expensive filters that are supposed to last 6 - 12 months but you blame the filter for the unit not starting. Also, this in not a rental, as if that would matter. It is a family owned house and my daughter currently lives in it, not that it is your business. Further, you extended me special payment terms?? You are incredulous, you did nothing but ensure you had business by lining me up with Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo payed you up front and I owe the bank. This is business so don't try taking credit for something the bank did. In the end I had one of your competitors from Chino Valley come out, Comfort System, and they were prompt and courteous. In fact, they even calked around the unit to stop the water from leaking through my roof. Something that never happened until after you were on the roof, and something you denied having any culpability over. Thanks for nothing.
I can't say enough good things about Indian air! They have great customer service, their techs are very friendly and professional. Our air conditioning works flawlessly and their pricing was great. I would definitely recommend them!
