We are in the process of getting estimates for a complete Furnace/AC upgrade. George Blitch did a thorough review of our existing system and discussed with us recommendations to complete an upgrade. George explained the process, in detail where necessary, and we were pleased with his delivery. Here’s hoping the estimate is in line with the project, though George seems very ethical and likely knows “You can sheer a sheep hundreds of times, but kill it once”.

I was really impressed with Mike's service. He was respectful, courteous and efficient. He wore a mask and booties in our house cleaning up like he was working at his own home. I would recommend the annual service agreement to all homeowners, friends and family. Not often a give an A+ to home services but these guys earned it all and then some.

Great company!! George helped us with a home remodel project and saved us a ton of time and money in the future. He also responded to my call on the 4th of July holiday and had a tech out the next day to save us from coming home to 100 degree house. Amazing service!!!!

I just moved to a new home and the heat wasn’t working on my AC unit. This issue was noted during the inspection period and the previous owner had Penguin Air check the unit only to have them say it was fully operational. Upon my move in it still was not working so I called Penguin Air to come back out. Their techs advised that the connection wires had been wrapped in metal tape and shorted out, so a wire repair would be needed before further diagnostic testing could be done. I approved the wire repair but they still could not get the unit operating correctly. The techs were not sure what the issue was and recommend either a new control board, a leak check/repair, or replacing the unit.

I had heard great things about Air Control so called them for a second opinion. When George inspected the unit, he found that no ‘wire repair’ had been done - all Penguin Air did was remove the metal tape and rewrapped the existing wires with electrical tape. George also very quickly diagnosed the issue as the new thermostat not being programmed correctly for an electric heat pump unit. With a few minor adjustments to the thermostat, George had the unit running and my house nice and warm within 30 minutes of his arrival.

Penguin Air charged me almost double what Air Control did and they didn’t even fix the problem. I was impressed with how frustrated George was on my behalf for the situation and the time and care he took to write up the invoice with all the details I needed to dispute Penguin Air’s ‘wire repair’ and their insane charge. Thanks to him, I was able to back up my complaint and they refunded my money.

I work in commercial building management and deal with vendors on a daily basis - it’s not often that I am as impressed as I was with Air Control and George. I will certainly call him for all my home HVAC service needs. George clearly cares about his customers and getting the job done right and at a very fair price.

George is as absolute wizard. I have used him five times at two different properties with very old HVAC units. Each time, he repaired the units rather than trying to sell me a new one. Each time, the repair costs were incredibly reasonable - much more reasonable than other estimates I received. George is now my go-to HVAC person. I simply will not use any other service than Air Control. I make sure to have George out twice a year for routine maintenance. He now has a maintenance plan that provides twice a year maintenance with discounts on repairs, discounts on new equipment, and extended warranties on repairs and parts. Dealing with George just gets better and better.

Update: During our last visit, I signed up for the maintenance agreement which costs me $13 a month. For that, I get two maintenance services per year and 20% off any repairs. We’ll, I needed a repair and got $68 off the price of the part. My math tells me the $13 per month exactly pays for the two service tune-ups, so I am already $68 ahead of the game due to the repair discount. Again, even though my HVAC is 18 years old, no pressure to replace it. Air Control continues to be the best value in the business and continues to be the only HVAC contractor with which I will do business.

George was just the nicest honest guy . I used another A/C company was a nightmare. Did not show on Wednesday then came on Thursday without the proper equipment . So came on Friday did something but had to come back later. The tech said that it could be the condenser and it may last or not and it would be cheaper to get a whole A/C unit. The repaired lasted 10 min so I called and know one came back or any call to apologize. Called George and he came right out an pin pointed the problem right away it was a condenser motor. He replaced the proper parts cleaned my unit up and works great. George went over an above on helping me on the 120 degree temp on the roof. Great Company and very affordable.

Tyler arrived on time to perform the Spring HVAC maintenance. I received a text when he was close. Tyler is personable and knowledgable. He explained my system to me. I have signed up as a maintenance member and could not be more pleased. Air Control will be my choice when the time comes to replace my system.
