These guys are great! They delivered excellent service and took the time to really explain what was going on. A few days later, I received a hand written note thanking us for our business. Other companies don't treat their customers like this! I will never use anyone else!

I called JC’s for a repair, and they came out the next day and were able to fix my problem on the spot. Not only did they explain what was happening, but also how to prevent problems from happening in the future. Loved the professionalism and promptness and will certainly be using them for our future heating and cooling needs!

JC’s Heating and Cooling is awesome! They put in our new unit in 2015. We priced around and they were the least expensive, plus they reworked our ducts because they were not done where it was most efficient by the builder. (That was not included with the other quotes!) Yesterday the unit stopped working. A small part went bad and JC’s came today, replaced the part and they are handling the warranty so that they can get reimbursed for it. All we had to pay today, was a small labor fee.
We highly recommend JC’s Heating and Cooling!
One last thing, all of the gentlemen that we have met that work for JC’s are professional and courteous! It is rare to find that these days!

They had to come back out today.....in 2021. They came on time, the young man was courteous and the amount paid was reasonable. They changed out a line outside, then emptied a pan upstairs that was overfilled. They also put a small amount of Freon in since it was a little low. We will stick with JC’s!!

Wes came out today to help us with our AC unit that wasn’t working. It ended up being a pretty simple fix, but I was thoroughly impressed with his service and ability to explain the problem in a way that someone with zero knowledge of the subject was able to understand.

I would highly recommend using JC’s Heating and Cooling Co and they’ll be our main provider in the future.

I called for an issue on 4/30 and they came that day. My unit needed to be cleaned, serviced and possibly have coolant added but they weren’t able to do it on that visit because the unit had frozen up. I did as he instructed to de-thaw it and it started working. Not as well, longer running tirmes than normal and not keeping the house as cool. I have called 4 times since to set up an appointment for complete servicing and to enroll in a maintenance program with them. I was patient because I know this is their busy season. I left 3 voice mails and spoke to, I believe, the owner who was supposed to call me back, which he never did.
My unit is old and in an awkward place so maybe they didn’t want the hassle. Or it could be their business is so good, they didn’t need mine. But the professional thing to have done is to explain that they couldn’t/wouldn’t/didn’t want my business.
I had heard good things about them on Facebook (which I’ll correct now every time I see a post about them) and they were so nice and prompt the first time I called, that I was very disappointed in how they actually conduct business. I was trying to stay local with an Irondale business, but in this case it wasn’t worth it.

JC's has serviced my home heat/AC unit since 1992. Chad Merrell and his coworkers are prompt, friendly and professional. The prepaid biannual service contract makes the cost very reasonable and the reminder is also helpful. JC's is an ethical, customer oriented, efficient business. Highly recommend!

At approximately 9:45pm on a Thursday evening I heard a loud noise outside my house and the power blinked a couple of times. After checking outside I went throught the house checking appliances making sure everything was working. The upstairs AC had stopped cooling and would not come on. I called JC's Heating and Cooling and left a message for a service call. They called me back the first thing Friday said they would be here before noon. Upon arrival their technician checked all of the equipment both inside and out. Within 20 minutes the diagnosis was made that a power surge had knocked out the main motor in the air handling system. On Monday they were back with a new motor and the system was back cooling the house. A welcome relief since the heat outside is in the 90s and the humidity is almost 60%.
