We've used SMS since we got a free tuneup at a charity auction a few years ago. The team has done great work on our home and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for routine maintenance. We had an AC unit quit last summer and someone was working on it within just a few hours.

In addition, last summer I needed a ductless system put in for a remodel and got three quotes. The SMS crew was the least expensive and the most responsive. As soon as I had the budget ready they were out working within a day or two. Shane and his crew are phenomenal.

Shane and his team did a fabulous job for us, and we will be using him again as the need arises. Shane's crew is very knowledgeable as well as thorough. We recommend SMS to all of our business associates as well as our friends and family.

We moved to Madison 10 months ago from Washington State, so dealing with HVAC is very new to us. Our AC unit was making a strange noise, and our real estate agent recommended SMS to us. We had a great experience. I spoke with Lynn in the office, and she did an outstanding job of working with our schedule to find a time that worked well. Our technician, Joe, was very informative and helpful. He instructed me on how to maintain our unit, and provided the most affordable solution possible for our problem. I can't recommend SMS highly enough!

I found this company via Goggle. I called them at 7:30 am and by 8:03 am the service tech was at my house. Justin and Matt were so very respectful of me and my home. These two men were determined to find the root cause of my AC problem. They were proud to tell me it was a simple fix and i was back up and cool within an hour or so. To the owner Jason......you should be very proud to have these two guys representing your company. I will recommend you to everyone I know.

I am a disabled veteran who had an accident and broke my left femur and left wrist in February, so I was out of work in July my Central unit went out I was frantic on what to do to keep my 3 young kids cool, cause I didn't have the money to fix, next thing I know Shane and his wife contact me and send an employee out to fix it free of charge, unfortunately the old unit wasn't fixable, then Shane tried to help me locate a used unit or funds for a new unit, unfortunately we couldn't do either. But he spent his money on the parts that they tried to fix the old one with, he paid his employee to try and fix it, then spent his time trying to help me get a new one. My brother needed some a/c repair work done in Decatur Al and I volunteered to find someone. I called SMS and they were great and very helpful. Free estimate was a great idea. We hired them a week ago and the air conditioning unit was repaired in a couple of days.

So far so good. These guys have given me great customer service from the moment I contacted them with questions about my old system through a couple of hiccups I have had with my new system. For a guy that has trust issues with contractors, these guys have made me feel comfortable that they can be trusted to do the job right.

My A/C went out on Mother's Day. Called Monday morning and a repair tech was at my house before lunch time. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because it took two trips to get the problem fixed. I know this is a very busy time of year so I was just glad to get same day service. The techs who came to my house seemed to be knowledgeable, got right to work, were very nice and were people I felt comfortable having in my house. The lady (sorry I'm terrible with names) in the office scheduling appointments was very helpful and friendly. I will use Southeastern Mechanical in the future.

After being devastated by Valley Heating & Cooling not honoring "their warranty" on a 99 year compressor warranty... SMS came to our rescue!
The guys came early the very next morning and we were up and running within hours!
I almost forgot... they did all this for $ MUCH LESS $ than I was quoted by Valley!
