Skelton's Heating and Cooling

Called Skelton's when my upstairs AC unit quit cooling, and I was expecting overnight guests in a couple of days. My usual AC service was not available, which put me in a considerable bind. I called Skelton's, mainly because they were close, and I figured they would be more likely to be able to respond on short notice. They sent a technician, Cody (who was very knowledgeable and personable and offered useful recommendations), within 3 hours, and he fixed the immediate problem. Because the issue with this AC unit has been a chronic problem, it is likely I will call Skelton's for further evaluation to effect a more permanent fix.

Derek is the man. Incredibly knowledgeable on all aspects of my ancient system and did a great job communicating what to expect with my new system. I never felt pressured to spend more than I was comfortable with, and he really worked with me to make sure my needs were being met while staying within my budget. Awesome guy and a GREAT company!

I have used this business three times. The first time was to install a thermostat. The second time was two find the problem of water going everywhere. The technician found a problem, drained the sludge from the pipe and explained everything that he was doing. He made recommendations and change out the filters that he didn’t have to do. This time it had quit cooling. The technician arrived on time again on the day that I called. Each technician was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to answer any questions. each technician made recommendations that you could except or wait till later to act out. I chose to follow their recommendations. I wanted to extend the life of my unit. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Could not have had a better experience! Our A/C suddenly quit working on a very hot summer day. The person who took our phone call was sympathetic and very nice. They were able to schedule a service appointment for less than THREE hours after calling to request service. The technician, Dave Driscoll, was the epitome of great service… professional, sympathetic, comprehensive in his analysis of the problem, and he explained the problem very clearly. After resolving the problem he offered very easy advice to help prevent the problem from reoccurring. AND the cost of the service call turned out to be almost half of his initial estimate. The service and communication from Skelton's have been nothing short of outstanding from the diagnosis of our Freon leak to the installation of a brand new AC unit. We were very grateful for Derek's honesty, patience, and expertise in helping us choose the right unit to fit our needs. On the day of installation, Jason and Trent worked diligently to remove our broken unit, clean the residue, and install the new unit while ensuring that the workspace was tidy. We could not be happier with our cooled home and the Skelton's experience, and we would not hesitate to choose Skelton's again for future AC needs.

The only place that not only could come out same day but less than an hour after I called. They also did not up charge for a weekend visit. Kevin was super helpful, respectful, and knowledgeable. Our issue was resolved less than 3 hours after calling, and done with a wonderful attitude. I will only be using Skelton from here on out. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had! Kurtis arrived timely and spent a great deal of time checking the a/c unit that was not cooling. He identified the issues, reviewed the age related coil leak specifics, explained all options including repair vs replacement. He was professional and thorough. I ultimately chose to replace the very old system and convert from electric straight air to a heat pump system. Although I did not plan on this expense it was clearly necessary.
Kurtis’ professional/courteous manner made this unexpected experience more palatable and pleasant and was very thoughtful in making certain we had a/c for another day while he arranged installation in less than 2 days. The service from Kurtis was outstanding. 5 Stars.

I was very impressed with Skelton's systems in place. They are responsive, provide updates via text, tell you when they are on their way, let you know who is coming and a little about the technician that is coming to your house, etc. Cody was impressive, he not only serviced our equipment but found an issue with the duct work and offered multiple solutions to resolve the issue.

I had Gage come out and help me with my unit he was very professional and quick about finding the issues with my ac and had a plan to resolve those issues. Quick to get my unit running again. I would definitely recommend him and Skelton’s to friends and family.

Justin was very professional and knowledgeable. He provided me with info regarding my units and informed me about the maintenance service plan available with Skelton's, which I might get in the future. He also thoroughly cleaned the unit and made sure everything was up to par. I will certainly use the company again and will definitely request Justin.
