I called DR. Heating and Cooling at 4:00pm on a Friday and spoke with Bill. After calling 6-7 of the competitors in our area, none had availability or were willing to service the furnace, not even the original company that installed it. My brother owns the home and was out of the country on vacation, grandma was at home watching the grandson. We just had our first snowstorm this year and the mercury was dropping fast. Bill was able to get out to the site within an hour and perform a cleaning and diagnose the cause of the problem (a motor needed to be replaced). The unit was repaired within 2 hours of calling Bill, he was extremely professional and worked with me remotely to solve the issue, as to not bother grandma. I would highly recommend this company, his price was more competitive than the companies that tried to push off the repairs until Monday. Bill recommended replacing the entire unit and offered to perform the work at a discount, regardless of the emergency repairs he did onsite that day.

My heating system wouldn’t stay engaged and I had no idea what was wrong. Bill gave me a call ahead to let me know he was in his way. Once here, he took a look and was able to diagnose and solve my issue. Bill also took the time to educate me on how the system works and what he did to fix my issue. Very much appreciated as we start to get into these cold days. Thanks Bill!

As usual when it was really cold outside the furnace suddenly stopped working. Called multiple phone numbers - but nobody wanted to work after 6 pm. And then I called Bill. And he arrived in 20 minutes! He was very professional, explained me the problem. Unfortunately with the very old furnace the only solution was to replace it. It was replaced in 2 days, fast and without any problems. Thanks a lot DRS!

Called for a new AC unit install and the guys were great to work with. Responsive and willing to work in our time constraints. Chris came out and installed, and followed up afterwards even after the work was done and paid for. We've used DRS several times now and will continue to do so.

I am truly baffled this place has high ratings. It is the reason I used them in the first place. My rental property is roughly 3 blocks from their location and I was charged $258 to be there 15 minutes and was told everything was functioning properly. I called on a sunday so knew getting someone out there would be higher, which it was..$150 to get someone to the door. But then cost over $100 for someone to tell me it was working fine and only there 15 minutes. Prorated, that is $1,000/hr. A crazy amount of money to pay to have zero work done. When told the price I heard $50 over the phone so wanted clarification to call Phil back who answered the phone by screaming at me on how I wasn’t going to pay my bill which was never my intentions. 5 minutes of getting shouted at (most unprofessional conversation I have ever had…especially in the service industry) needless to say, after 15 minutes of getting yelled at by tech and Phil by Drs, I paid the bill to simply stop having to talk to these unprofessional people. I will never use this group again and recommend others do the same.

Bill was knowledgeable, professional and to the point. We would recommend him and his services to anyone. This was an early evening service call to repair our furnace and return heat to us.
