Great experience!! Very professional. Was well informed by the technician. Would highly recommend. Our AC stopped working. Called Woods and they were able to come out the next day and fixed the issue within minutes.

I have Woods perform regular service on my two main systems and now added the mini-split to the regular checkup. They always do a great job and Brian (who came today) was no exception.

Wasted phone call. Made me feel like they were too busy to waist time on me or our plans. Absolutely will not bother you folks again. SAD because you had great reviews.

My momSara Moran bought two brand new Trane units from Woods less than 5 years ago. In that time they had to service one of the units 2 times. This most recent time, we were told the compressor went out, and would have to be totally replaced. The compressor was under warranty but I was still charge over $900 to have the problem fixed. When I asked the technician what could have caused the problem, he simply stated "they sometimes go bad, but it was due to no fault of your own." You would think after spending nearly $20,000 on two brand new units, that problems like this would not crop up until maybe the 10 year mark, but that's not been the case in our situation. And the fact we were charged nearly $1000 to fix a practically new unit is outrageous. Don't buy from Woods because they either sell defective equipment just so they can charge you money when it goes out, or they don't stand by their product and leave you on the hook for paying extra expenses on something that should be fairly reliable.

Filled out the online form for service and never heard a word. I have lived in South West Virginia for 3 year and have found this to be common with businesses. Don't add the functionality to your website if you are not capable of supporting it. Ease of communication is important to people who are busy.

Brian did a great job and he is very polite. He was very knowledgeable and patient because he had to wait for our roof access door to be opened. We will try to request him again!

James was great. I am concerned that when I got it checked several weeks ago as part of the maintenance agreement the freon level was not checked.

We've had very good experiences with Woods Heating & AC over the years. Today our repairman James Blankenship diagnosed our air conditioning problem and had it running within a half hour!

Update May 26 2022: James Blankenship returned and was able to troubleshoot our air conditioning problem again. I had thought our unit was low on freon, but he found it was a loose electrical connection and charged us only the minimum price for the visit. Very professional and capable!

Update June 28 2023: James Blankenship was again able to troubleshoot our downstairs AC unit. He found there was a drainage issue and repaired it within 30 minutes. The cost was very reasonable. Very happy with the service!

I own property in Clifton Forge and Covington VA. There are many other companies in this area but I choose Woods because of their level of professionalism and expertise. I have purchased 3 HVAC systems. Service after the sale is the best.
