I talked to Chip last year about installing a gas furnace. I decided to go with another company and save a few pennies (ARS-Don't ever use them). That was a huge mistake. The company I chose took 4 months to install the system. So, when I needed my air conditioner upgraded, I called Americool. Their prices are reasonable, and their work ethics and customer service is the best you could ask for. The old system was removed, and the new system was installed in 3 days. Chip made sure to touch base with me during the installation, and multiple times afterwards to make sure I was happy with the work, and to see if I had any questions. I am very pleased with my system, the price, the installation, and customer service. I would recommend this company.

I have all the trust in Americool to service and even install the HVAC units I now have. They were very professional in stating the issues I had and what was needed to fix the problem. I now have two great units that have saved me a lot of money. My power bill is under $200 and even during the winter the bill doesn't go very high.

I wanted to have a complete inspection of my Gas Heater and Air unit downstairs as well as the upstairs heat-pump. Americool setup a date and promptly came out for the inspection. I would like to mention that I was called multiple times by Lisa to keep me informed of the technician’s status for arrival… this exceeded all my expectations and made the process seamless. The technician found the 17-year-old units in need of repair which was expected. He walked me through the entire process and made recommendations. I replace the downstairs units and repaired the upstairs which made the most sense. Once again Lisa kept me informed of the process step-by-step. The repair and install technicians arrived on time and were very professional. Each time they entered the house they wore booties to protect my wood floors. The job was done on time, at cost and it a very professional manner. Lisa called back after the job to ensure that I was satisfied. It is so hard to trust anyone with repairs on your house when you have minor knowledge, however, Americool explained the process, the parts, repair over replace and what I should expect to a level that was easy to understand. I am extremely happy with the service and value that I received. Satisfied customer.

Americool did a great job replacing the HVAC system in our new office building - five units total. They were on time, fast, and more than competitive on pricing. Not only did they save us money on the replacement, but our power bills have been 35% lower. We are saving several hundred dollars a month and it looks like it will be enough to drop us a tier in Dominion's pricing, which will save us another $100+/month starting next year. We couldn't be happier, and more comfortable too.

We had an amazing experience working with Chip at Americool Heating & Cooling Inc. The entire process, from estimate to completion, was extremely professional and timely. My home is over 100 years old with no existing ductwork. Chip is very knowledgeable about mini-splits and used his expertise to design the best and most efficient system for the layout of the house. He worked with us to locate all of the equipment and lines in a way that was aesthetically pleasing. The level of care and detail that Chip put into laying out the system was above and beyond. We have been enjoying our new heating/cooling since completion without any issues whatsoever! His entire crew were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and clean. I have had a service maintenance contract with American Heating and Cooling for many years. I seldom have to contact them between service visits, but if I do, I can always depend on them to send someone out to repair the HVAC in a timely manner and work with my schedule. The office staff are pleasant and accommodating.
