*Must Read* Watch Out for shady AC/HVAC techs!! Air Authority was my "2nd opinion" company. Initially I did a AC check-up with another company. But they had "suggestions" and utilized fear tactics to get me to pay $1000+ in fixes... i smiled and thanked them for thier suggestions. I then called Air Authority for a 2nd opinion. Casey from Air Authority came to the house, very professional and in the biz for 12yrs; he analyzed the problems and SAW NO PROBLEMS! In fact, he identified some valve had no end caps, which could leak my freon. (Where did they go??)
His only suggestion was a new capacitor ($200+) [they start going bad after 4+yrs] and mine was not working at optimum levels.
He proposed a upgraded capacitor and a start up kit to help prolong the life of capacitor. That's it. I went for it, and this company saved me $$$.
A+++ for Air Authority.

There were internet issues but Jose was determined to make sure it was working before he left. He helped me with the instructions on using the new thermostat he installed. I was grateful for his time and effort.

Due to Jon Wayne giving me the run around, I decided to go with Air Authority for my routine inspection and maintenance. Robert was punctual, informative, and very professional. He answered all of my questions and gave me tips on how to keep my central AC running efficiently at all times. They offer several maintenance plans to keep your system running 100% all year long. Highly recommend!

Fantastic customer service, honest, patient, and explained everything I don’t understand about AC work in layman’s terms I could fully grasp. Our tech, Sam, was courteous, congenial, and never rushed the job. After a first resolution to determine why our house wouldn’t cool was unsuccessful, Sam came back out soon after the request, troubleshoot extensively and discovered the less than obvious issue that he immediately remedied. Within an hour our house was cool again and done so at an affordable rate without any efforts to up-sell products or unneeded services. Highly recommended and will continue to use in the future when the Texas heat takes over!

Absolutely the BEST A/C company in San Antonio! They were my second opinion when I was told 3 years ago that I needed a new system & all I needed was freeon. So when my A/C really needed to be replaced, I knew who to call. Installation was fast, easy & professional & follow up service has been exceptional!!

Other company came in gave me an outrageous estimate. A Friend to me to call Air Authority and have them take a look and sure glad I did. They came out on time took a look at my system, showed me the problem and gave me an estimate that was almost 65 percent less then the estimate those other guys gave me. llThey has me up and running within two hours and that included the time it took to go get the part they needed. They were professional, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. Was so impressed signed a Maintenace Contract right there and then. Great Job Air Authority, keep up the great work.
