John's Heating & Air Conditioning

Have had Johns for service for 15+ years. They are great, on time and neat. We replaced total system about 3 years ago. I was pleased to find John's to be the most price competitive. We were very happy with the job and price.

I have two homes on my property, both have needed AC service on several occasions. I've tried two other companies. John's is the only one that hasn't disappointed. They are good folk and reasonable. They stand behind their work. Unlike other ones around here that I shant mention. There's a reason for all the 5 star reviews.

Everyone we have had come out has been great, they tell it straight and help get what you need and get you fixed. Chase is a stand out because he's super professional and super friendly always smiling and ready to dig in and help. Super smart guy and knows how to build confidence in maintenance or repair work. Very fast response, I called Saturday afternoon on Labor Day weekend, John was super nice and told me he'd try to find somebody to come out that afternoon. A repairman called shortly after and confirmed he'd be by, he came out at 4 PM and was very professional. Diagnosed that we needed 3.5 pounds of r-22, charged me $150 for the after-hours call, which is very reasonable, then quoted $100 per pound for the r-22, which he brought down to $75 per pound. The stuff wholesales for $20-35 per pound, so at best a 2x markup. Whole service cost over $400, for one hour of work. I've gotten better r-22 pricing elsewhere, although the service was top notch and I like that they are local. Will keep on my list of providers. UPDATE: John called, again extremely nice, and explained his r-22 pricing. Star rating upped due to follow-up.

Outstanding! I live in Mansfield and have used John's Heating & Air several times ranging from minor repairs to major work. They are super responsive, friendly, professional and their crews are either ontime or they call if there's a delay. Pricing has been fair, great value for what I've spent. I had a great experience with John's Heating & Air. They were recommended by a friend of mine who also had some A/C work done. Prices were fair and it was a no pressure sale. I would use them again without hesitation.

Most people who own a heat pump don't realise they utilize Freon to operate in the winter. A copper tube began to split open near my biflow filter drier. Resulting in No Freon in the system.

Chase examined and repaired the system - replaced the freon & filter. Works as intended now.

I'm usually pretty up-to-date on basic mechanics and technology . But for some reason I missed the fact that if you own a heat pump in the Winter in Texas and it gets below freezing you should manually turn it to emergency heat and Bypass the heat pump technology if your unit equipment isn't automatic .

I felt that John had a genuine concern to make me a satisfied customer.

Would use them again.

My evaporator had leaks!! John's gave us the option of replacing the coil vs changing the entire unit. So thankful they gave a less costly option, change coil. Technitions were super, knew what they were doing. How do I know that? I have a degree in HVAC & Mechanical Technology.

I’ve had the chance to use this business a few times over the last few years. A #1 local business of integrity. Professional, timely, and reasonably priced. Appreciate a straight shooter like Mr. Patterson who will go the extra mile for his customers. Highly recommended from me. Map should be updated with new location.
