Outstanding company! We had some issues with a unit that we purchased 3 years ago. Everyone that came out was amazing. They diagnosed our issue and made everything right. The install was quick and painless and the crew were absolute professionals.The AC system has never worked better. We had a service technician out after waiting two days with no ac. That’s with us being on the patriot plan (waste of money) He was supposed to bring our UV filter to replace it after the service call. When he arrived, he said he “didn’t read the notes” for the call so he didn’t bring the filter. We have used your company for 7 years (you installed our unit) and out of those seven years, a technician has remembered to bring the filter to our annual tune up only ONE time, despite us calling and asking each year for it to be purchased and brought to the tune up appointment.
Back to our most recent visit: after looking at the exterior unit, the technician asked to see our breaker box and said unfortunately he couldn’t repair the ac bc our breaker was going out. He advised us to call an electrician and have them repair the breaker. He charged me 157 dollars for that. I called another company who was out in twenty minutes, that technician went in our attic and let us know it wasn’t the breaker, it was wire nuts that had melted and were touching ground. He replaced them for free and didn’t charge a service fee. He said if the previous technician had looked in the attic he should have seen those wire nuts first thing.
In addition to that, he let us know that our UV light was plugged in to the attic light, so that if the attic light is off, our uv light is off as well. When y’all installed this, we were never made aware of that. So, for SEVEN years we’ve not been using the UV light because your installers never made us aware that we needed to have the attic light on for the UV light to be on.
Minute man is an awesome company! Chris and Sergio came out and helped us get our ac running and good to go! They came in and got right to business. They didn’t try and sell us a new unit or anything. They came in and try and find the problem and fix right then! They make sure everything is good and working great!
I just want to let you know that the serviceman that came out was very nice and polite. But your dispatch person was very rude. Over-talked me and would not even listen!!! She and I were saying the same thing, but she assumed I was not agreeing to paying the diagnostic fee so that an estimate could be sent to my warranty company. I understood that and was more than willing to pay the $89 for him to see what the problem was so we could submit the estimate for approval. Someone needs to counsel her on customer service!! At least pause the conversation so she can hear what the other person is saying!! Rude!! Rude! Rude!
I’m really impressed with this company! Great communication from making appointment to meeting the technician (and they send you picture and small bio, so you know who’s going to knock on your door). Daren was very profesional and was explaining every single thing to me during HVAC system inspection. Upon completion he recommended improvements needed with full explanation why I need it, so I was able to make informed decision (instead of being pushed services). I’m looking forward working with this company and Daren. They also provide maintenance plan, which covers 2 tune-ups a year and gives you discount if repairs needed.
Sergio C. was absolutely amazing! He was very informative and knowledgeable. We will definitely request for him to come out when needed again for the twice a year maintenance checks. THANK YOU Sergio!
My technicians, Shakir and Oscar, were professional, on time and respectful. They found the problem with the AC and had it fixed within 30 minutes. I was pleased with their service.
The dispatcher refused to send someone over to my address because according to their system, they have had problems with nonpayment of services. Shocking. I have never used this company or any company for that matter for AC service. How do you even get service and get away with not paying for it? This saga gets even better. I just got an invoice to help me remember. I do remember now. I got charged $472 for what was supposed to be an $89 tune up charge. I never called them for service; it was preventive maintenance. I didn't want to sign up for their maintenance plan ($13.75/month) and refused the offer. I thought that was it. Come to find out they have charged me $472 for "recharging" my freon. The recharge never happened.
James, was very informative and did an amazing job with my AC repair. He answered every question I had and did a great job of explaining the source of the problems as well as the solution. I will request for James to come by for every call I make.
We were having an issue with our digital thermostat shutting off and on though it took the company a week to come out, James Stewart our technician was very knowledgeable and kind. He fixed the problem with the thermostat, and the float valve not installed correctly and replaced the filter.
