Northern Tool + Equipment

Everything was going fine, I was about to spend $600+ but when I got to the cashier she refused to give us the $20 off for spending over a certain amount. I have made big purchases before and havent had a problem. So I said I would just leave everything and she said Ok and called someone to put things away. It's crazy that they would lose a big sale because they would not honor one of their coupons.

Store is okay, has good variety of items, including many oddball items that may be hard to find in other tools stores. Why only 3 stars? 1st prices are 5-15% higher than most other stores selling same or similar (other brands) items. 2nd - you can't rely on continuity of specific to that retailer brands. I bought a set of power tools and less than year later that brand was discontinued so I was left with useless tools due to lack of batteries- thanks to compatibility I discovered with Harbor Freight 's brand I still use them. 3rd - misleading advertising - they sent me a coupon for free item, I drove to the store to find out they would not give it to me unless I buy something else - that was NOT specified in the add, unlike let say above mentioned Harbor Freight who's commons state "with any purchase".
Hopefully this knowledge saves you some headaches.

I just bought a lawn mower about 2 months ago and i know usted it twice, it wouldnt turn on and i took it the repair shop. My lawn mower has a warranty but the still charged me the $35. For the repair they were charging me $80. I dont recoment, they dont follow the warranty plan the machines have.

Northern tool and equipment has moved from the west side of interstate highway 35 to the east side of interstate 35.

They are now located just south of Hebron Parkway / Round Grove Road, in the old Toys r Us parking lot.

I am a diesel mechanic & Northern tools have a lot of great tools that auto/diesel mechanics would normally buy off an highly priced tool truck! They have inch wrenches & sockets up to 2" !!!

They don't stand behind the warranty on pumps, HF does. It would seem every time I visit Northern Tools, they are either out of stock of items I'm looking for and the website says they stock.

Online ordering was a breeze and had the option to ship for free to a Northern Tool store was a bonus. Great selection of disinfecting products for this pandemic.

Nice new store. Many items are the same as that other discount tool store, only more expensive.

Came here for some simple mesh tarps. Out of stock and way to busy helping the one other customer. 4 emoloyees and no one can help.

I asked to have them delivered to another location. No way.
