Northern Tool + Equipment

Very cold and empty experience, several NT employees working inside, all huddled together, I had to go them to ask for help and direction.

I felt as if I was interrupting them

When I went to the designated area their selection was not what their website advertised

Straight robbery I hate this place I never will come back I purchase a 15 bag off black diamond sand for $12.99 per bag and I tried to return 13 of them And they returning me $8.75 per bag

Called this morning and spok to one of the sales people explained that I tried to purchase a generator online to pick up at the store but it went south. I gave the model and they checked to make sure it was available. I told them I'd be there shortly. When we arrived, they had it pulled, with the battery, oil, and it was waiting at the front desk. AMAZING customer service skills!!! thank you!

Always found everyone very pleasant and professional at the counter and when delivered to my truck outside the store. Northern is a great place to shop for the house because they have a lot of goods. Pricing is always reasonable and availability is great.

I shop here often for work and home. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. They answer my questions quickly and accurately when I call for details or inventory. I've never had an issue with orders or in-store purchases. It's just easy to shop here.

I love this store. I can find what I need, helpful employees, so much better than the last store.

Had the luck of getting help by a gentleman named Logan. He went above and beyond to show me the items I was looking for and explained it all in detail rather than just pointing to the aisle and walking away like most other tool shops. He deserves a raise! I'll be coming back here for more tools when I need them. A+

Northern Tool rarely has the good deals and the quality tools they used to carry. Select brands are available at a premium but for the most part they carry tools and items that are on par with or slightly better than Harbor Freight. Only reason to go to Northern Tool is to pickup items shipped to store for free freight and return Internet or Catalog orders. In fact, Northern Tool has failed to keep up with the times, some items are only available through catalog and the Advantage member delas are only valid on Internet or by Phone as are some of the coupons they send. It is like they want the different departments competing with each other.

You guys lost a $500 sale today. A dozen customers in the store and no employees were on the floor for over 10 minutes. When the manager and other workers finally came out i walked up to them and was ignored. So i called a competitor while waiting and they had the weedeater i was looking for. That's how you lose business.
