Our AC suddenly went out on a hot summer day, and I made one phone call, the nearest business to my home, and it was HF Mechanical. Joe answered and luckily was available to come check out the problem immediately. When Joe arrived, he was very respectful in our home. He took off his shoes, masked up, and inspected all the necessary areas. He fixed the problem within an hour and we are still pleased with the results. Two and a half years ago something "blew" in my HVAC system and I have been without central air/heat during this time. Over the course of 2 1/2 years I have had 3 big name companies out 5 times. Each time they quickly diagnosed that I needed a new system with costs ranging from $7-10,000. So, I hunkered down with a window ac and a couple of space heaters because I just don't have thousands of dollars sitting around. This past year at school one of my students gave me a business card from HF Mechanical--Joe Hernandez is her father. I called them and Joe and Theresa came out. They actually listened to me and investigated by opening up my unit. They found a suspicious looking part, took it out and replaced it. They cleaned the coils and recharged the coolant. I now have the luxury of central air again. The part they replaced was $3.05!!! They saved me thousands of dollars! Joe and Theresa Hernandez are the people you need to do business with. I had a heater and air handler stop working right before a cold snap. Joe and crew were able to scope, quote, source, and install a new HVAC system the next day. They showed up on time and finished on time. They really bailed me out of a bind.

Joe answered the phone on the first ring at 4:45 pm and said he would be there in an hour and he was. Both he and Isaac were polite and professional. They said they would fix what they could and don't like to replace units unless absolutely necessary. They worked on it until 9:30 pm because they didn't want me to have to sleep in the heat. HF Mechanical did us a huge favor and replaced our entire system on the same day we called which happened to be a Friday. Who does that! They did not want us suffering through the weekend in this Texas heat. They recommended an upgrade from a 2.5 ton to a 4 ton as the builder installed a system that really was not capable of cooling the square footage. Very professional and friendly. 5 STAR ALL THE WAY

Joe returned our call within 5 minutes and came by early the next morning and diagnosed and fixed our compressor. Super-professional on the phone and in-person. We're very happy with the quick and excellent service and glad to have found our AC guy! =)
