K&R Heating & Cooling

We have been using K & R for 3 years and they have always been prompt and professional. Just had a new Trane HVAC installed and have been very pleased with the cost, installation (Will & Ben) and most of all how well the unit is keeping the house comfortable.

My AC went out on a Saturday in this record breaking heat. I called first thing Monday morning and they got me scheduled right away. They were kind and understood how urgent it was to get it fixed. Draven came out at 8am the next day and walked me through the entire process. He was very considerate and helpful. He showed me what was wrong with the unit and promptly fixed it. Then checked the lines and serviced them to prevent any future problems this summer.

Great overall experience. I won’t use any other service in the Hill Country. They are the best.

I called at 3:30 PM on a Friday afternoon with little hope of getting a tech to fix my AC system, but K&R's dispatcher found a tech, and had them assigned to my call with a 4:30 scheduled arrival. Ben arrived on time, was clean, courteous, and prepared. He was methodical, communicative, and told me why he was doing what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem quickly, fetched a part from the shop, and we were cooling again by 5:45PM. I'm very impressed with K&R and with Ben. Thanks!

I can’t say enough about this company. I use them regularly for my construction companies jobs. They always show up on time and do great work. Kyler did a quick thermostat install at my office for me and was in and out. I highly recommend!

Regan and the team got my 82 year old mother's HVAC replaced within a day. They also helped her with product registration and filing for the KPUB energy rebate. She was uncomfortable using the new thermostat, so they spent extra time helping her learn how to use it. Great service, very patient and helpful!

These guys responded quickly and were always kind and respectful on the phone and in person. The technician came out on a 95 degree summer day to fix our A/C and got it back up and running in no time. He replaced a simple part, tuned up our other unit, and the invoice was WAAAY less than expected. I highly recommend this company, especially if you need someone fact and reliable.

I have found the K&R team to be reliable & communicative. They worked on a unit that I sent them out to take care of. It's been a few months and it is still working great! Even if you don't need to have your HVAC worked on, stop by their facility buy some of the air filters that they stock. They are reasonably priced and are better than the ones that you can get at the boxed stores locally!

Long story short. Bad experience tech came out on Monday mis diagnosed problem. Then came out 3 more times. Total of 4 times in 5 days and no results ! Each time failed to fix problem Then once again he is off to the next service call I am stuck another day with no AC @ 80 degrees. Got fed a bunch of excuses and I will have no AC over the weekend. One small relay switch and hosts of incompetence. Explained to the dispatcher to ask the owner if I was his Grandma would he leave me to suffer in the heat. No response from the so called Christian !

Not only do they respond QUICKLY and professionally to service calls (unlike some of the older AC companies around Kerrville who are very rude) but they are HONEST and do not overcharge or do unnecessary work. I highly recommend this company, they do it RIGHT the FIRST time! I will never do business with the old local companies ever again!!! They are very friendly and professional and helpful!!!
Kyle came out this afternoon after I called this morning reporting that my AC was down. He came out right on time and diagnosed all the issues and fixed everything perfectly. He was very professional and explained everything well to me. I am extremely impressed with this company and will be a regular customer for check-ups, etc. I have used them three times already. The man and wife team I used to use became very rude and overcharged me on the motor they replaced so I will always use K&R. They are the BEST!!!!!

Our AC unit was not working properly. I called and talked to Regan and told him about the problems we were having. A crew was sent out the next day, found the problem and ordered the part. Due to Covid, process of getting the part was slower but it was no fault of K&C. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable staying in the house until the part came in and were able to fix it. The crew was outstanding, professional and made sure we were taken care of. I would recommend K&R Heating and Cooling to anyone in need of their services and they will be my go to AC/Heating company from now on. Thank you so much.
