Original service was for an AC tune up. My technician was Mark B. He was very professional and explained a lot about my AC unit that i didn't know. He performed the tune and had my AC unit up and running in no time. Thank you Comfort Experts and special thanks to Mark. Will be using this company again.

Mark with Comfort Experts did a big job fixing and replacing pipes for our water system in our pump house. Which froze and burst in the freeze in February. This is a great company and Mark B did a fabulous job. The company that installed the system wouldn’t help us and we have been without clean water till today. I would highly recommend them. I asked Marshall to come out and provide a second opinion on a new unit I had installed. The main purpose was to review some issues I have had and to see what their opinion was on the matters. Marshall provided the information I requested and was very kind and polite, and worked around the issue of having someone in the house that was sensitive to noise. He gave me everything we needed and gave some opinions and options as well.

We had a mini-split installed in our garage since my husband uses it as a gym and office. Alex and Abraham were our installers and were courteous, clean, professional, and did a great job. David Kerbs helped us in choosing the right solution for our space. I highly recommend this company!

My technician was great and polite and competent but the company outrageously overcharges (about $1,000/hr). They don’t apply their diagnosis fee toward the repair like most places. First they thought the problem was a blown fuse, they were going to charge $130 or something just to replace the fuse. The fuse was $5 at Home Depot. That ended up not fixing it. Turned out the compressor got zapped in a surge. My system was less than 5 years old and was still under warranty. Their repair charge was $2,000. They told me it was about $1300 in labor and $700 in parts and that it would probably take him a couple hours to get it in when the parts got in. $1300 sounds like a lot for 2 hours of labor and I couldn’t get them to explain how the parts would cost $700 under warranty. I called another big chain for a second quote the next morning and they ended up charging me $1000 for the whole job. I finally figured out when it is under warranty the company charges a core charge to make sure the part is really bad. Comfort Experts was just going to stick me with the core charge then pocket it when they turned it in. With air conditioning you are in a bind in the heat and can’t wait on multiple options, so there should be a trust factor they will treat you with a fair price. I definitely would not recommend them although they were easy to work with and seemed like they would do fine work.
