I just completed a semi-annual Service call with SA Specialist Technician-Kevin. Kevin conducted a through review of my unit- while he explained what he was doing and answered all of my questions. He was very polite and courteous. I enjoyed his allowing me to "tag" along while he was doing his job. I wanted folks to know he did a great job and I appreciated his knowledge and service he provided. Thanks

I bought an HVAC system. Big bucks so I borrowed money out of my equity in my home. They came out as scheduled and a few hours later the system was up and cooling us off after 6 weeks of no cooling in Katy Spring heat. It was touch and go as the unit is programmed for the home and its size. There were tweaks that had to be done and they were done. Watch out for the fine print that says your warranty is valid based on required service maintenance. Annually like clockwork, we have a professional come out and service the system. Make sure you keep your receipts of these services.

Although the technician (Roger) arrived a little late because of issues with previous calls, he was very polite and helpful. He answered all my questions and did a very good job with the spring maintenance check up for my ac system, including changing the Aprilaire filter (which is something of a chore). I would recommend him and SA Specialties to anyone needing ac work.

On Jan 23, 2017 I purchased a Lennox XC21 from SA Specialties. The unit was rated very high on CONSUMER REPORTS. Price was great, salesman helpful, but as it turns out the unit as NEVER worked as designed. It has only operated in the high speed mode never in the energy efficient low speed setting. So during this whole time the additional savings that I was suppose to see from the technology in a two stage unit was never realized. Six months before my unit was installed, my neighbors had the exact same unit installed. We checked their unit and sure enough it wasn't working as designed in two stages either. We relied on SA Specialties installers to test the system thoroughly during install and make sure the system was working as designed. They had not! So if you have a two stage unit that they have installed do yourself a favor and make sure that most of the time it is running on Stage one (low speed). Stage two (high speed) should only power up when there is change of temp of 5 degrees up or down.

After servicing both of our systems today my neighbors system is running in two speeds, mine is not. Verdict for my unit is a possible mother board failure or the fan motor is defective. Now to wait for replacement parts.

I've given a three star review for the business hoping that they will follow up with new parts and an HVAC system that works as designed.

I'll post an update once the repairs are completed. In the meantime do your homework! That's the only way you know what to expect from your system!

I had my whole system replaced by SA Specialties 6-17 My house is now cool quiet and comfortable. The installers started at 08:00 and were finished by 4:00 They did a professional job form start to finish. SA SPECIALTIES advertised pricing and written estimate are exactly correct, no "bait & switch" no "add ons". I had a problem with the new thermostat, and they sent their most experienced tech out after hours to correct the problem. This company is one of very few that does a HONEST, PROFESSIONAL Job. In my experience I would not trust anyone else, with this job, or waste time with 2-3 estimates from others. To all the people at SA Thank You Very Much, you are always welcome at my house, the beers cold, and the pit is hot, stop by anytime. Dan / Sugar Land / TX.

I've used SA twice. Once for a five ton Trane system and six months ago on a two ton Ruud. Both times their installation was perfect, and I say this because I had a different company QC their work afterwards. I went with SA because their prices beat every other bidding company by large margins. (However, proper installation is much more important than pricing.) I recommended them to my neighbor across the street, and they have since replaced both of her systems, and she was completely satisfied. My first system has been in over three years now with zero problems. The second system has been in six months with no issues. I would use them again and would recommend them over any other company in my area.

Neil, Miss Ruby, Kevin, Osiel and their Installation Techs are the best! I got their new, 14SEER Goodman promotion for $4998. Everyone was exceptionally professional and offered detailed information about the system. Please check with them for your A/C needs.

Our A/C stopped blowing cold this morning.

I called and scheduled an appointment for an A/C tech to come out and fix the issue. The technician, Kevin, arrived around 5:00PM and quickly identified that my issue was with a bad capacitor. The unit was still under warranty so I only had to pay for the labor to replace the part.

Kevin also performed the spring checkup while he was here so I would not have to make another appointment. It took him about 90 minutes to complete all the work and he even replace the air filters before he left.

I will use them again.

Kevin is an excellent employee, very professional, very knowledgeable and very personable. Kevin has been servicing my system for many years. I know that makes sure my AC / Heat unit has been checked out and working efficiently. Kevin arrives on time, which is very much appreciated along with Kevin's work ethics.

Today was definitely a “Good Friday “ because three angels ascended to install my HVAC system. Josue Carbajal, Victor Lopez, and Raul Carbajal were so professional. They came in on time and installed my system perfectly. The difference is night and day from my old system. These guys are the best!!!!! They were very knowledgeable ,and let me also give a shout out to Mr. Kevin, he was very professional as well. Now I can be cool this summer!
