We've used DC for about 20 years, and they've done work at 5 different houses for us, which included repairs, routine PM-type maintenance for AC and furnaces and installation of new units (maybe 8 new AC units and a couple of furnaces over the years at various houses). In general their techs are quite experienced and knowledgeable, and we've found them to provide good service. We originally started working with them when they were subcontracted by our GC when adding a new AC/H unit during an extensive renovation of our residence. We have found that if we had a problem with an installation or repair, they responded professionally and quickly to make things right. Office staff are also very responsive.
They did come out immediately when needed. However the tech was nice, but seemed inexperienced. He was at my house for 3-4 hours and was on the phone majority of the time with someone helping him. He didn’t find the problem and simply said it might be an electrical problem. I paid them twice as there was a miscommunication within the company. I gave my card number when I initially called and the tech asked for my card again, we had to call and we received a refund for the 2nd charge . I then paid an electrician to come out the next day. The electrician showed us it was not an electrical problem within 10 minutes. A switch to the furnace was off and the AC came right on. I received a follow up call and relayed this information to the company and they said they’d call back after speaking with the tech. I was supposed to receive a call back but didn’t. I basically paid $400 to flip a switch.
Dependable Comfort is our top AC & Heating company. They go above and beyond to make sure that your HVAC needs are taken care of. They are reliable, friendly, professional, and trustworthy. (Those things are hard to find in an AC company in Texas.)
I recommend them to all of my friends and family. I will continue to use them for all of my HVAC needs.
Not very dependable. I had to run them down to get a quote. I didn't end up using them so I can't speak for the quality of their work. The tech who came out initially was friendly and nice. I just don't think they were timely behind that.
The staff was amazing especially Margaret, Toya and Ashley! Breakfast was really good! A suggestion though is change coffee! Not so good in dining room or rooms!
