Had a thermostat go out and there the company my builder used and the number in my builder packet. It’s a simple fix just need the head unit of the thermostat and they told me they where 3 weeks out and could not send me the part. Offered no help at all even when I ask to refer me to someone

Brand new house and the AC is complete junk. Big Tex has “fixed” it several times but yet we still have the SAME issues. If it wasn’t for warranty I WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Bad customer service, we bought a home 2 months ago and they came out and looked at it due to condenser. The service man put a lock on the ac without even telling us so we cant even adjust settings. What type of customer service is this? We reached out and there is no after hour number, its the holiday weekend and now have to wait till Tuesday… Not only that he was rude and unprofessional…

Big Tex installed the AC in my home when it was built. They were the only company to service the ac while I lived there because the home was under warranty. I put the home up for sale and got a contract. During the home inspection, it was pointed out that a cover was missing off of the furnace in the attic. Big Tex was the only company or individual to EVER touch the unit. It was required in the sale of the home that the cover should be replaced. I called Big Tex and they said they would take care of it and assumed responsibility. The service guy arrived and went into the attic. He came back down and told me the cover was missing (insert face palm here). He said they would get a replacement and take care of it. Fast forward two months and the new home owner contacted me asking what the status was. I told him that I assumed it was taken care of and that I would give them a call. Nothing.... "we will call you back". They never would after I repeatedly called. Fast forward two more months (we are four months deep now) and at least a dozen phone calls and I've gotten nothing but none answers and empty promises. Fast forward another month ( 5 months! 5 months people!) and I've told them that since they will not honor their product I would just pay for it at a cost they quoted of $130.00. Fast forward another month and a half (we are now 61/2 months into this "project"), nothing. So I call back and they say they will not be able to schedule an appointment until next month (7 1/2 months! I mean really....) at cost of now $200.00. All of this over a sheet metal cover that's attached with four screws. The cover is still not replaced and the plight still go's on. If you want a lesson in patience, give Big Tex a call(s)!

Purchased a new build. They’ve to come to the house 7 times already in one year for various service calls. From vent plugs being closed, to the A/C running but not starting, Wi-Fi error messages when it works fine for everything else, bad coil, unbalanced flow..etc. The worst thing is that whenever the temps drop we have issues with the heat. In the summer it was issues with the A/C. We’re under warranty, but definitely will be getting another opinion so the builder can be held liable if there are more issues.

Do not use this company. Bought our new home 2 years ago. They did the ac work in it. My whole system is frozen up. Exposed wires and all other kinds of things. This company does not care either. Shotty business.

Absolutely HORRIBLE service!! This company put my AC unit in my house about 6 years ago. They were called out three times and has never fixed the problem! When I called recently, the response is always that they are servicing people with newly built houses with warranties, call back in two weeks. Do not use this company, you will regret in long run. If I can give negative 100 stars, I would!
