AirMaster was appointed by Select Home Warranty. The owner, Sam came to our house very fast. I knew the problem was that he the drain lines needed to be flushed. He said he flushed both of them but then suddenly the blower did not work. The blower was not an issue before. He quickly checked the blower motor and said it was busted and we needed a new one. He even said we should also replace the furnace. No idea why. We sent a claim to the insurance. While waiting for the insurance to get back to us we hired another A/C company who came out two days later. They took a look and within 2 second they saw a wire had been disconnected. They plugged it back in and the blower were running fine. I suspect Sam unplugged it as he kept saying he can come back if the insurance gives us a hard time. So then he would just plug it back in again?? They told me the drain lines was clogged (the water would still not run through), so it does not look as if AirMaster flushed them at all. When I later confronted Sam with this, he just said that it was not his job to sit and check if the water ran through the pipes. He only complained that our entire unit was installed wrongly and was not up to code and all kind of nonsense. Sam kept complaining about the customers he gets from the home warranty companies (so he basically complained about me). He said the pay is low and he will only prioritize his direct customers. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone. It is absolute garbage and the owner is an arrogant man that just want to come and claim the call out fee and he has absolutely NO interest in helping his “customers”.
Stay away from them at all clay and find someone else
Loved this company. They came out with a two hour notice on a rainy Sunday. My air conditioner broke this morning and this very nice guy, I think his name was Tim, immediately came out to help. I highly recommend this company! They made my life soooo much better with so much convenience!
It was a mixed experience between 2 different technicians. Jim was very professional and made sure everything was fixed as needed and also worked with my home warranty company. Also the person scheduling the visits was good too. I would have given only 1 star if it was for the other technician.
AirMaster-Sam and Jim and staff were very professional and very knowledgeable. Sam & Jim answered all my questions and entertained all options of what would be good for my home a/c system. Installation was great and it feels great and comfortable in my home now. all at a very reasonable price. I would strongly recommend their services.
Air Masters was contracted through my home warranty company to repair my AC. When the appointment time they scheduled came and went without so much as a phone call or text from them, I reached out and spoke with Sam. He rescheduled for the following day only for the same thing to happen again - no call or text, just another lapsed time window. When I called back, Sam pushed my appointment back ANOTHER day and told me that Air Masters doesn’t prioritize the home warranty assignments; they’d rather do installations because they pay more. His exact words - “I’ll get to the repairs whenever I get to the repairs.”
I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
Worst experience, stay away from this company. He was supposed to show up on Saturday at 11 am, didn't get a call until 3pm. No apologies. We wasted our whole day waiting for this technician to come in, good solution to the problem of having cold air not coming out was to keep the doors opened. Checked the refrigerant pressure and told me he doesn't get enough money from warranty service to adjust the pressure and he left . He claimed himself to be the best in the country on HVAC repairs, may be he is but his customer service sucks! Stay away from this company so that you don't waste your time.
This was not a maintenance issue; my unit was not cooling. My HWC-Select Home Warranty(horrible) called this company; Sam the owner came out on 8-19th. He was in a hurry, did not properly check system inside, guages, etc. Diagnosed, “3 pounds of freon needed” not covered under warranty co. End result-$180 for freon and $75 service fee! Out of my pocket. Sam was in a rush, said many other calls; was answering calls on cell phone on my service call. I had to ask him to STAY at least 20 minutes to get the problem right & fixed. Today it is 8-22nd, ac freeze up, not working. Called Air Master- tech Juan to come at noon. No call, no show by 1pm!! Called AM cust. Service- he cannot come due to family emergency- sam will show up; he works up until 9pm!!!!! Hot & 😡!! I DO NOT advise this company to use.
