Product that I was looking for was cheaper at Northern Tool than on Amazon. At the store, the product was in two locations on the same aisle, with two different prices, one of which was the price I found online, and tge other slightly higher. I took a printout with me from online for this very reason, however the price at the register was the lower one and matched online. Only reason that I didn't give 5 stars was due to the price marking inconsistencies in the store. I noted another similar product with the same issue as well, so not isolated.

My first time at northern tool was to take in a faulty Westinghouse generator I bought off amazon to see if they could service it under the warranty (it was brand new). Robert in tools and repairs really pulled through for me and went above and beyond what he needed to do. He figured out the issue, tried to contact Westinghouse several times to no avail. Instead of leaving it at that and having me bite the bullet, he fixed my generator. My business was suffering unnecessary loses for weeks and it’s people like Robert that keep me coming back to places of business, amazing customer service.

Store usually has what I need. I like that they give discounts for scratch and dent stuff and still allow to use coupons! I buy a lot of regular priced items here so getting deals on some stuff makes me feel better about coming back!

Came to buy some small things I needed for work, this old white worker told another worker to keep an eye on us while we were at the checkout line. He tried saying it under his breath but not low enough. I am baffled, always have had good experiences at other Northern tools, this would be the only one I dislike.

I unknowingly dropped my diamond wedding ring just inside the door of the store on South Freeway Fort Worth, TX. Five hours later I realized I’d lost it, called the store and the employee, Harit answered and said they had found my ring! When I arrived back there, I found out another employee, Jada had seen the ring and a customer picked it up and gave it to Harit. Thank God for honest people. Many THANKS!

The fort worth store improved drastically a good while back, about the time the whole store layout changed. Got to say, there's an employee there, Blake, that is one of the most motivated, professional customer service oriented individuals I've ever seen in retail. Impressed every single time I walk in and see him working! Just a straight, helpful, take charge get it done kind of guy!

Clumsy Creeper Gaming

Buyer beware. Read fine print on the back of receipt. ROGER and CINDY at South Fort Worth in Texas not standing behind what their employee said to sell product. They would not give me last names because they said they did not have to, even though they are representing management. Charged 10% restock fee on returning defective item. Then stated they would sell defective product on their mark down shelf. Really, Law suit waiting to happen. When asked about selling faulty products, THEY stated that they do not care about liability do to product being sold as is when it gets resold. Made me upset to know instead of sending it back for repair they are going to resell it to the public.
Watch out for this product being resold. The Warn Wench is rated for 1000 lbs , wouldn't even move 200 lbs. The only way this would work is if what your moving is on wheels. They said it pulled the fork lift, which is on wheels, not a direct pull of something not on wheels. Even if it moved fork lift a few inches which I doubt, im sure that was the final blow.
Originally, when i bought product I had doubts but thought I would give it a try since their employee reassured me if it didn't work I could bring it back up to 15 days for a full refund. After several attempts it failed each time. They will tell you what you want to hear to sell their products but will not stand behind their word. A Word and a handshake gets you nowhere in this world today.
Watch out for this store and what they say. If you buy something you have doubts about listein to your gut, or record what they are telling you, because they will not stand behind it.

There customer service? Well they don't have any. Every single time I come in here I'm ignored. I ask a question, it's like I'm throwing everyone's groove off. This last time I came in there this older man was called to assist me in pricing welding gas. And he just threw the book with the prices on the table and left. So needless to say I only go there when I absolutely have to.

I’ll be real honest, I typically have no idea what I’m doing in a place like this. It’s easy to get overwhelmed. I thought I had my head right about what I needed to complete a DIY project I’ve been working on but I got in over my head and was feeling very overwhelmed. The staff at northern answered every question I had with expertise and patience and didn’t make me feel like a fool for any of it (thanks for that; there were a LOT of questions!). They even pointed out some videos I could use online to help me find my way if I got stuck. If you need some professional advice, tools and above and beyond customer service, this is your spot.
