Service department has great customer service! I had an issue with a generator and the service department followed through with the warranty that I purchased to repair/replace the generator . So many times in big stores customer service is absent , this is not the case with this department. The service technician treated me like it was his own business and my happiness was his goal. Thank You.

Do not purchase or repair generators with Northern tool @820 Texas. They are a mess, disorganized and dishonest. They will sell you a warranty without the personnel or knowledge to fix them. Mine was "repaired" by a guy that was clearly on drugs and almost burnt my truck. Powerhouse HQ actually tried to helpbut due to no evidence at the store now we have no generator. Never again fellas. Our business lost money due to their incompetence.. Good luck in the future.

Store #658 customer service was wonderful if we needed help I could always find some and they where very knowledgeable with there products. I would always go back when I need more items. There prices can't be beat.

Everytime I go here I feel taken advantage of one way or another. Today went in for an air hose reel. Website showed in stock. Called the store to verify, was told they had six. Arrived at the store. was told they could not sell them to me because they had been pulled for an order over a week ago. I even asked if they could get me one out of that order explaining I had driven quite a distance to come pick one up. They refused.

And big box retailers Wonder why they're losing business to the likes of Amazon.

Northern tool is a great example. If you order something on their website you can't pick it up in the store, Even if they have it in stock. When you place an order on their website and select in store pickup, you must wait for them to ship it from their warehouse to the store before you can pick it up.

I have spent over $2,000 in the last month at northern tool. Almost everything I bought there I could have bought on Amazon under a different brand name. Generally I prefer to support local companies.

Look got the same thing on amazon in 1 day!

Store was clean. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Had plenty of room in the aisles for my wheelchair. Unfortunately they were out of stock of the item I was looking for that was on sale for 20% off and so I won't be able to get it at that price. That was the only negitive issue.

Great place to get tools...just not at this location...
Staff is rude and inexperienced. Don't expect a pleasant shopping experience. Good luck getting any help. If you happen to find an employee, good luck getting assistance. Order online or go to harbor freight.

My mother and I came in to get a Christmas and birthday gift for my dad. We were definitely out of our element but thank goodness Jose walked by and saw we needed help. He help us find what we needed. He was extremely helpful and efficient. Then Krystan helped us at check out. She made sure we got to use our coupons and was extremely patient with us. Thank you guys for all of your help in making our trip seemless and easy.

Staff has ranged from incredibly polite and helpful to rude and could care less attitude (I walked out of the store and made my purchase at HD for a higher price rather than deal with that treatment).

Placed my order for a motorcycle ram over the internet with help from an associate who walked me through the process over the phone and drove 10 minutes to the store and it was ready for pick up. I didn't have to wait the 2hours like the website stated. Yayyyyyy!
