James and his crew offered me a price for a very simple dryer vent cleaning. They came, found extra problems, they fixed them and stuck to the original price. These people seem to me the kind of people I want to be around. Thorough, clean, intelligent and resourceful. (Of course, I gave them a tip-if only for solving my extra problems!) (The vent cap shown here will get some more attention soon when I have roof shingles.)

This group of professionals is excellent at every level. From the office personnel who speak with me on the phone about my appointment to the tech who performed the maintenance on my equipment, they are ALL excellent indeed.

Do not use this company. We spent a small fortune on a new HVAC system in summer 2021. It has never worked properly. During installation, we were told they needed to track down the right circuit board (“supply chain issues”)—it never came. I brought this up during every service call since but the service techs don’t know anything about it (I don’t really expect them to, but there should be a record of it in our client file). Finally, a month or so ago, they did replace the circuit board but here we are again with a non-functioning system. In the year and a half since installation, we’ve had numerous error messages, where the system isn’t blowing at all, typically in times of extreme temperatures. Currently, it’s 23 degrees outside; 63 degrees and falling inside. I called the 24-hour service number and a woman who *couldn’t. care. less* said a technician will call when he’s in the way. We’ll see; her attitude didn’t instill confidence. Bottom line: we spent almost $30k on a brand new Lennox system that hasn’t worked properly since day one, and encounters with Cool Air Mechanical’s customer service have left us feeling strung along and completely duped.

I needed a quote and Bernie was extremely helpful and informative. Depending on what happens with my home warranty, I’m going with Cool Air Texas.

Our ac went out one recent evening. Well, Texas is baking right now so we were in a stew. I called these folks when they opened the next day explained our situation. They had a technician at my door within two hours! He was amazing, knowledgeable, and efficient. He had us up and running in less than 30 minutes! They'd helped our son earlier in the month as well. They live a few doors down from us and recommend this company to us.

Installed new hvac system with these guys. They did an excellent job, and were very willing to explain any and every detail. And the price was right!.
