Jeff showed up on time. I called and needed someone right away. Jeff made. Special trip and did it right away. My appliance was not here yet and he came back to finish when it was delivered. Very professional and explained everything that needed to be done. They charge by the job and not the hour, I love that! Will use again!

I assume they have astronomical rates for a reason. I called for quote to install a power outlet inside my home, fully aware of the quote fee. The electrician shows up and quotes me $450.00 for the job. $450.00 for a simple indoor power outlet. Doesn’t offer an explanation as the why it’s so expensive but happily takes the quote fee and leaves. I’ve contacted another business that quoted the job at half the cost since dealing with this. Just be warned that they price gouge and have no qualms scaring customers away with their ridiculous quotes, just to collect there quote fee.

Immediately returned my call and setup an appointment to which they arrived on time. Serviced all 3 AC units at my home. Tech was very knowledgable and was able to answer all my questions and give recommendations. Definitely happy with my service and I would recommend them to my friends and family.

The assessment fee I agreed to originally was $59. I felt this was fair. All I was looking for was an assessment of why my doorbell wasn’t working. He would tell me it was probably a problem with the doorbell transformer in the attic but wouldn’t go into the attic to check it unless I agreed to pay $300. I didn’t feel the assessment I had paid for had actually been done at this point.

I agreed for him to go up, and exactly as I thought, the remodelers had just left out the transformer. This is a $20 device. All I needed was to know where it was supposed to be, that it has power, and that it was missing, but he wouldn’t actually assess this unless I was paying much more.

I called the company while he was in the attic and talked them down to a still steep $225, but only after his boss very condescendingly told me he’s not going to “work for free.” Apparently, $59 is free now. If they had just assessed the problem and let me fix it like I planned, I would be out less than $100.

There are hundreds of electricians in Austin so I'm glad I chose to hire Bryant Electric. I called on a Tuesday after my refrigerator and microwave were fried during a storm (presumable a power surge). Jeff told me they could come out on Thursday morning between 8-10am. To my disbelief, the technician showed up at 8am EXACTLY. Anyone who hires service work to their house knows how rare it is for a technician to show up on time! was presented with three options to fix the problem, and I chose the middle road option. Still came with a warranty which is nice. Thanks Bryant!!!

Bryant Service Company was incredibly responsive to our needs and Nick Sisti did an outstanding job getting us up and running after a breaker panel blow-out. They are fast, professional, friendly and most importantly they realize the critical needs of running a business. Thank you Bryant Service Company and Nick!

Company wants $59 to come out to your house. You meanwhile assume that will cover the estimate. Not. The cheapest it will cost you to determine the source of your problem is $300 (they deduct the $59 from that). Sadly, the work was left unfinished and half my house still has no electricity. The company now wants another $300 to continue the troubleshoot after replacing a single GFCI which fixed nothing because it did not address a breaker in the breaker box that will only stay in the tripped position. The only light in the kitchen that did work now doesn't work because the agent re-routed the wiring to the GFCI. Another light that did work (on another breaker) now grows brightly and then dims when the tripped breaker is turned on. The company's position: Wait until the wire dry out and everything will work. And when it rains next time? I'm sure they have still another $300 solution for that.

UPDATE: Had another electrician come out 12 Dec 2018 and he immediately removed the GFCI Bryant's agent had installed. The minute he did, the #1 light in the hallway which had suddenly stopped working started working and the #2 light in the hallway which was buzzing and going bright and then dim burns normally now, no buzzing. I'm paying $300 for that? NOT.

They men showed up and executed the best plan of action and did a great job! I had built a pergola and wanted power to it with two separate power sources. With a switch to a light option on the pergola. 3 months latter its working great after i hooked up the ceiling fan and lighting.
