Daniel, the electrician assigned to my job request, was very professional and very knowledgeable of the wiring in “older homes” built in the 50s! His knowledge and expertise is what my family needed! More work needs to be done, so he’s coming back!!

Bryant, you have a good worker on board!!

When I needed complete, all-new wiring for my art studio, a well-equipped electrician from Bryant Electric Service showed up in a very timely fashion. He worked confidently and efficiently, completing all the electrical work long before the insulation and paneling worker showed up for his job. I'm extremely thankful to Bryant Electric Service for their highly professional service, because they installed a much better system of circuits than I had even imagined. For example, to insure a high level of electrical safety, they connected every outlet to a ground fault interrupter. This was something I hadn't considered, but it made perfect sense and the extra cost was minimal. Also, the wall outlets are plentiful, installed in groups of four, so I have no need for running extension cords all over the place. The interior is pleasantly illuminated by well placed and efficient lighting. In addition, they installed a dedicated wall outlet for an air conditioner, another outlet in the loft, and a 240 volt outlet for a kiln. Months later, I needed a second 240 volt outlet for another piece of equipment. Once again an electrician from Bryant Electric showed up on time and quickly installed that 240v outlet right where it was needed. The results of all this work are seamless and very satisfying. In the process, everyone from Bryant was so professional and courteous, it's impossible to imagine better service. I highly recommend Bryant Electric Service to every individual or business owner who wants the highest quality lighting, wiring, and electrical repairs performed by first rate, professional electricians.

Daniel came out to do a full safety inspection on my electrical system. He was prompt, covid-safe, courteous, thorough, and explained everything very well! We'll be moving forward with an action plan, prioritizing work to be done throughout my home. I couldn't have asked for a more positive experience! Thanks also to Brook, who facilitated qui ck scheduling in the kindest of ways!

I'm so so grateful. Highly
recommended!!

We have had Bryant Electric come to our home in Austin several times for different electrical needs. We have been completely satisfied with their work on each occasionally.

Today Bryan and Jeff were here to hang a couple of chandeliers and to add dimmer switches. These two men did an excellent job. They were on time, pleasant, and professional. As it turned out they did not need of use scaffolding and this lowered the bill substantially. I would highly recommend this company.

I had a Ring Doorbell and indoor cameras installed. Tech was on time and very professional. He did a very good job and made sure I understood how everything worked before he left. Would highly recommend Bryant Heating and AC.

Service technician did a great job and I don't fault him at all for this review but it's way too expensive. They explained the charges up front but most people are not going to take the time calling a new company out when they need something fixed right away. So, it was $480 for replacing a dryer plug and switching a two prong outlet for a three prong. Took all of an hour and a half maybe and I mean the actual materials may have run $50 at most. So, I basically got charged over $200 an hour for very easy work for an electrician. I expected maybe the price would be in the $300 range for what was needed and I would have given them a 5 star. This rating basically is a 5 star for service but a zero star on value given their pricing.

This was our second time use Bryant Electric Services and could not be more pleased with their work!!! Zac is professional, knowledgeable, patient and efficient in his work. Our first job with Bryant, Nick was our technician and he was great as well! We would never use another electrical service except Bryant!!!

Price Gouging to the extreme!!! I was told over the phone that the cost for my work would be around 400-600 but they would charge me $59 to have the tech come out to give a more accurate estimate but the 59 would come off the price of the work. I said that was fair, scheduled the appt. The tech came out, he was on time and courteous. When he looked at the spot where i wanted a 220v outlet installed he said it would be 1400!!! I asked how i could get one price from the office and another from him and he stated that 'they don't see what i see' I asked what he saw..he couldn't tell me. The run was only about 50 ft. from the box and when i asked for a breakdown of parts vs labor he said they didn't do that. They charge by the job as a whole. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I had 5 other bonded, insured and certified master electricians come to my house for FREE estimates and they were all around the $800 range give or take a bit with the same exact parts. I am highly suspicious of their pricing methods since they can't give me an itemized list of parts vs labor. They still charged me the $59! Guess if they are making $59/hr they don't really need to do actual electrical work.

After taking the day off from work and scheduling a week in advance, Brian from Bryant Electric came to my house to replace 10 light switches, rewire a 3-way switch, and reconnect a receptacle. His charge for 4-hours of work? $1529.00! More than double a full day rate for an electrician. Of course I had no choice but accept the charges, since I had already waited a week and taken the day off of work.

I just don't think this is an honest business practice. Bryant should offer a fair hourly rate. They overcharged me and I'm not going to use them again for my projects, and I've got lots of projects. Short term gain, long term loss.

Wishing I had read these reviews beforehand!

Similar to other stories here... I called to get an idea of how much it was going to cost to convert an outlet for an electric dryer. I was told $59.00 to get an estimate. Based on my research it should only cost a couple hundred for an electrician to switch the dryer outlet.

The technician that came out, Brian, was great. He was friendly and helpful, but their prices are ridiculously expensive. $1000-$5000 to switch an outlet.

I understand there was a hiccup with the space that we had and it would require adding another small box but that seems outrageous to me.

I wish they had a better intake process to avoid this. Felt like a scam just to get the $59. And it wasted my time.
