I called mid morning when I found out my thermostat wasn’t working. Jose was able to come earlier than expected which was much appreciated. He was nice and professional and got the job done in about 30 minutes.

I called A-1 Star A/C and Heating to check on a room that I didn't think was cooling. I figured it was my PCs since there are two in that room.

Jose showed up on time, assessed my concerns and got right to work. Jose checked my ducts and both were fine but found that I was low on refrigerant. Jose also changed out a capacitor that was starting to fail. I knew that I was going to need refrigerant since, I've been band-aiding the system since we moved in, that was the expensive part. But overall, Jose was great and would definitely choose this company again when it's finally time to either replace my unit or have it serviced again.

I have multiple issues since the storm. No one bothered to thoroughly check my electrical or A/C, therefore receiving a couple of band-aide events last year. A-1 visited a couple of times and was able to get things cleared so I stay comfortably at home with heat. Imir event referred a great electrician to check my beakers. I am so grateful for them.

I called A-1 when another 24 hour service failed to call me back in a timely manner. By the time the other company returned my call (next morning), A-1 already had a technician enroute to my home. I already knew what the problem was but didn't have access to the parts to make the repair myself . It was comforting when the technician (didn't get his name) inspected the whole system, diagnosed and finished the repair without adding unnecessary suggestions like others have done in the past. Overall good experience with this company!

They were very easy to reach, showed up earlier than the estimate and did great thorough work in a timely fashion. Jose was a complete professional and very helpful. I would definitely use them again in the future.
