I had used one hour heat & air for several years. The first two years were great. They called to set-up appointments twice a year due to their monthly charge, and when I needed a new unit, the price was fair and I got it done fairly quickly. However, after that the quality of service dropped tremendously. They no longer called to schedule routine work (as in the service contract) and just didn't show up for a year. I called when I realized and was informed that I am supposed to schedule with them but they understood that I would prefer a scheduled call. It is poor business to take money and not even try to perform the promised service. Fast forward another year and still have not called. I cancelled my contract yet was still charged for 2-months (apparently the first person I spoke to cancel left the company BUT HAD PUT IN THE CANCELLATION NOTE). I was informed two-months later that they have a 14 day turn around. So, if you don't cancel the prior month, you are still held accountable for the next. I had to get work done to the new unit (from poor installation, I have learned) during the time I still was "in service". When I asked them to if they were going to honor the work done since they neglected to be clear in the cancellation policy, I was told no and would only be getting a one-month refund. Overall, this company is great at taking money but works hard to do less than the minimum. I would avoid at this point until they can get the act more together. I gave two stars just due to the excellent service the first few years of my time with them.

The blower in the attic was making rattling, banging noise. I contact company and they had an opening for today. Mr Franklin arrived at my residence right on time. The unit had stopped working. I explained to him what was happening with the unit. He told me it was the blower and he removed it and called for parts to repair the it. Thanks to Mr Franklin the job was finished in 2 hrs. I will be using them again if anything else goes wrong with unit.

Matthew (aka Matt TN) gave us excellent service. I received a text that he was on his way as well as a phone call. He was several minutes early. Very sharp and professional. He explained everything he did and was quick. I would definitely have him do work for me again.

Matthew was phenomenal! A+ knowledge, service, communication and clarity. Matthew took the time to ensure that the root cause problem was fixed and also corrected issues that another HVAC contractor had messed up. The peace of mind have now is priceless. This is world class service! Thank you Matthew and One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning!

We are pleased with how rapidly One Hour has responded to our broken heat pump which has now been replaced. There were two follow up issues, but both have been taken care of as rapidly as possible. We are back in business :) Thank you to all 6 One Hour employees who helped in this process.

Today the gentleman that replaced the photocell, that I had purchased and had, on hand, did a fine job. The person that came up with the charge of $91.00 needs his head examined. That storm that came through this area around 10 days ago took the electricity in my area down 3 times during the storm. Each time for no more than two or three minutes, That night I noticed that the light at then end of my driveway did not come on. So I called One Hour to have an electrician come out and get things working again. I keep spare LED bulbs, a 24 volt transformer and a photocell on hand for just these situations. The problem is that with my hands as bad as they are these days I don't trust doing that work myself any longer.

The One Hour guy showed up and found that the socket in the crawl space where the transformer is plugged in has a GFI and it had tripped. He reset the GFI, assumed that things were fixed and billed me $119.00. That night the lights still did not come on to my disappointment. So I again called One Hour. This time the guy came out. I told him about the spare parts that I keep on hand and he asked me to give him the LED bulbs. When he put those in the lights came on. The problem is that it as no where near dark and the photocell should not have allowed the current to flow through it. There was no charge for this trip, thankfully. I again called One Hour because now the bulbs were on 24 hours a day. Today I gave the electrician the new photocell and he replaced it. The lights did not come on. He put black tape over the photocell lens and the lights came on. So, it appears that things are once again working as they should.

The electrician sat in his truck for a very long period of time and then rang the doorbell and informed me that the bill for today is $91.00, for what took him 10 minutes top. In the total scheme of things this seems like an exorbitant charge, especially when it has taken three trips to get the problem fixed. I admit that there were three things wrong following that storm, a tripped GFI, blown out LED bulbs, and a blown out photocell. However, one would think that more testing should have been done the very first time One Hour was out to insure that all was in proper working order.

That is $210.00 to fix a problem where I supplied all to the needed replacement parts. I accept the original $119.00; but, today's $91.00 charge to fix things that were not fixed in two previous appearances is outlandish. I will have a difficult time calling One Hour should I ever have another electrical problem.

Staff was very friendly and informative. Their prices are outrageous! Needed a new thermostat and they wanted to charge me $504. This company was at my house this winter to fix my unit. I had no heat so they put a new board in the unit. When I turned on the air conditioning in the spring it was not cooling the house. They charged me another $149 to come back out and then wanted to charge me an astronomical amount of money to change the thermostat. I will not use this company again.
