My second floor has a room in the front of the house with one window and that window is 'covered' so it's never open. Due to the lack of air flow that room was always 8-10 degrees warmer than stepping 10 feet out of it.
I did research and discovered I could put a dedicated AC unit in that room but I'd have to cut a hole in the house so that was not an option.
I then read about having my house go through an air-balance 'check'.
This is a required service for commercial buildings but not residential.
I was a skeptic of it actually working until I used ACS to perform it on my second floor.
And it works! Now I wish I had them perform the service on my first floor (maybe someday).
I also had them provide routine maintenance on my HVAC units and discovered the blade was rotating in the wrong direction when turning on to cool! The prior service I used on my units never made that assessment so for now - they are my go-to for HVAC.
I also suggested them to my next-door neighbor who was having HVAC issues and they ended up using them too!

I had a carrier put in in June and have been having to call them out ever since. There's no way a brand new air conditioner should not cool to the temperature you set and you just bought it brand new. I think I will have to call codes to have it inspected or something because every time they come out its something different.

Let me first say that I have been a loyal customer of Air Conditioning Service for almost 25 years.

Last winter my heating unit went out and I called them. They came out 3 times with a different diagnosis each time but never resolved the problem.
During this process, I also had three after hours calls hoping we could resolve the problem on the call. Turn off the unit, turn off fan, check the furnace...was the advice. Still, nothing worked. I didn't pay them for the work they did since nothing ever was fixed. Who expects to pay for work that never can be diagnosed correctly?? I finally called a different company and they fixed the issue in about an hour. I spoke with the supervisor / owner about the whole thing and explained my upset regarding the entire problem. He apologized and stated his company shouldn't work that way.

I am having a problem with my air unit and thought I would give them another chance since they had been great in the past. I spoke to their supervisor and he stated I cost them a lot of money last year and he didn't need me as a customer. He told me the best option was to call Hiller or Young. I can't begin to tell you the number of neighbors where I've recommended Air Condition Services. So, I'm calling the other 2 companies he mentioned for my service.

The only thing that could have been better, A better estimate of when tech would arrive. We were told after lunch, he arrived at 5:45pm. That is in fact after lunch but we were tied down all day. Thanks for asking
