Heritage Heating & Cooling LLC

I'm a big fan of Heritage. They installed a new HVAC system for us last year and did a great job, and the guys that came out helped us diagnose a major issue with our other unit caused by former owners. Just today, during the cold snap in Nashville, Josh and Justin came out to help figure out why my condensation pump wasn't draining. It was a simple fix but they were professional, thorough, and super nice about everything. It's also great to be able to personally text the owner, Jeff, about getting service. Overall, this is a great company and I definitely recommend them to everyone on my street.

Our lower floor HVAC unit had stopped heating. A few weeks ago it did the same thing, but I turned off the system then turned it back on and the heat kicked back on - I knew this was a sign of it going out. Unfortunately, this time it did not come back on and the first floor was getting cold.

It was an early Saturday morning when this happened and I knew that most HVAC companies were not open. Not thinking they'd respond, I called Heritage since I had them check on something in the past. To my surprise, I talked with Jeff Parks (the owner) who helped me try to troubleshoot the issue over the phone... but even with his suggestions, the heat still would not come on. He actually came over that same Saturday and looked at the unit, performed some diagnostics and came to the conclusion that it was shot. We then went over what needed to be done and went through what the best option would be at an affordable cost. He did not charge for a service fee or even another fee for coming on the weekend!

I did a bit of research and had quotes from other HVAC companies, but nothing compared to what Jeff was able to offer. I had his team come out that following week to do the replacement of my old 13 year old unit. They were on time, prompt, and friendly. His team flawlessly did the install without trouble on probably one of the coldest days. They also checked the crawlspace for ductwork leaks and didn't make a mess everywhere, which was definitely a plus. They did the install and tested the unit in about 3 hours and did a superb job!

5 stars and would highly recommend Heritage's services!!! They definitely go above and beyond for their customers.

UPDATE: 6/6/19

My upstairs AC unit's (original to the house from 2003) condenser finally died. We were hoping it could last at least another year, but unfortunately no. Service tech Josh provided the honest feedback indicating we needed a new unit (split AC/furnace unit) and that even replacing the old/outdated condenser would not be cost effective.

Jeff got us scheduled in quickly since Josh's visit 2 days later, which is remarkable. The install team was very knowledgeable and courteous - even though it was rainy, they were mindful to put on shoe covers when they needed to go in the house. It was a very smooth install, no damage to anything, and they cleaned up everywhere they worked. The team did a great job explaining everything and showed me the testing of everything to ensure everything was working/operating as expected. So glad that our upstairs is no longer 83 degrees!

In my previous house, I needed to replace the HVAC and Heritage gave me the best price among three quotes and coupled it with excellent service. We moved to another neighborhood and I asked them to check out our unit after another firm told us that we needed to replace our heat exchanger immediately. Josh came out and assured us that was not the case and it likely had another year or two to go. If you want to deal with a company of integrity that has the customer's best interest at heart, call Heritage.

We continue to be impressed with HH&C from installation a few months ago through to Steven quickly resolving to a minor issue today. We highly recommend the whole team for their knowledge and professionalism

I've been doing business with Heritage for almost 10 years. You won't find a more helpful, professional, and trustworthy team. Josh did an outstanding job when installing my new AC compressor and even took time to clean up a wiring mess that I had created while trimming too close to the outside units. I highly recommend Jeff (owner), Josh, and the rest of the team at Heritage.

Jeff Parks and his crew are great to work with. Very professional all around. His crew walked me through setting up my new thermostats and ensured that everything was in place and working properly before they left the property. Great warranty options. We had a multi-stage Amana unit installed and purchased the additional warranty. Highly recommended!!

I shopped 3 different companies for a new unit. Amazing the difference in prices for the same units. Not only did Jeff shop some of the units and come in with the lowest price, but he explained the units and why some were higher than others. Non pushy sale, very informative and quick to get it done because our other unit was not working. He also came in $2,000 less for the same unit than Hiller did. When I asked Hiller about it, they said "We will price match if you can send me the quote". I sent it to them just to see if they would do it and if it really was the same unit. They called me back and said they would match the $2,000 less price. I said "No Thanks - you should have offered that in the first place". That is a huge difference and I will never use Hiller for anything else again. Jeff has my business for anything like this going forward. Great Guy and very quick to get back to you on any needs or questions.

I highly recommend Heritage Heating & Cooling. The professionalism and attention to detail from Jeff and his team were above our expectations. We've had a separate unit serviced previously by a different (but well known) HVAC company, and the difference in service and pricing is like night and day.

Jeff and Josh have provided us fabulous service when we needed it! A couple of different issues occurred within the first year of moving into our house and Heritage always sent someone promptly who clearly explained the situation and our options. For one of the repairs, the part we needed (a coil) was actually under warranty -- something we never would have known had Josh not researched it and told us, saving us lots of money! Most recently, Jeff came out to our house on a Saturday afternoon when one of the switches on our outside units broke. It was the day of my daughter's first birthday party and he was able to come out on the weekend and get the unit running again in time for the party and then ordered the part we needed to replace. Again, their service is excellent and friendly -- I definitely recommend them.
