    After another company came out numerous times and could not fix my hvac Barrus came out and had it running perfectly in about an hour. They were on time, very knowledgeable, and a reasonable price. From now on they are the only hvac company I would recommend. Thank you Barrus Heating and Air.

Warm personality and very professional, he presented well priced options and even lended us a few window units to ensure my pregnant fiancé was comfortable in the days leading up to the install. During the first heat wave of the the year he and his crew were right on time!

    Super friendly staff and amazing and knowledge technicians. I called on a Friday and had someone out here on Monday. They came at the specific time frame, diagnosed our issue in a jiffy, and was able to replace a defective item the same day. Comparable pricing and I never felt taken advantage of. Thanks, Evan and James for coming out and solving our problem! I'll definitely recommend you guys to anyone looking for HVAC work!

    I had Barrus Heating and Air install a new American Standard split system installed on June 18, 2018. Here’s the take away: 1. They are honest. 2. They keep their word. 3. They are reliable. 4. They are professional. 5. They have VERY competitive prices.

    I recommend this business highly. Bill came to my house and did a thorough inspection and explained to me the equipment. His no-nonsense pricing and knowledge of his products is top notch.

    The guys who installed the equipment in my house showed up at 0800 as scheduled and promptly finished by 1500.

    They are Unwilling to work with a home warranty company. All that is needed is to communicate repairs needed to get payment approval and payment would be immediate. I would understand “if warranty does not pay then you will be fully responsible” but they didn’t even offer that. Service call was flat stopped with “we don’t ...”. I cannot comment on their service as we never got that far.

    I was happy with the initial service Barrus provided. However, their follow-up service left me extremely disappointed. I came home from work to a cool house, but my garage and outside power outlets no longer worked (they worked when I left). I knew it was no coincidence. I called Barrus to ask them to come look at what could have happend. I was told I needed to contact an electrician, because they didn’t touch my electricity and it wasn’t their problem. I called an electrician and they quickly diagnosed the issue as a GFI outlet that tripped (most likely due to something Barrus plugged into an outlet while they were working). All it would have taken to make a happy lifetime customer is some ownership in their work and a quick look at the problem. Instead I will never recommend or use them again.

    With pollen as it is currently this season I had to flip on the A/C early and sadly the unit I had was on its last leg. Barrus came out quickly, assessed the unit and was able to secure everything needed to come out within the next day. Having company in town they made the install their #1 priority, coming out in the early hours on the day of the Bridge Run! Due to the quick turn around and it being over the weekend they weren't able to get all parts but they did have the a/c up and running within just a few short hours. The owner himself came back Monday to check on everything and to finish off the job. He made sure that I was satisfied and knew how to work the new system. Thank you all again for the fast work and tip top customer service! Couldn't be happier.

    My AC quit working on a humid September day. I called and spoke with the scheduler at Barrus and had an appointment for the next day, on a Saturday morning. Im very pleased with the service and appreciated having cool air again in less than 24 hours. The technician explained everything to me.

    These guys showed up on time and quickly evaluated and solved the problem. More importantly, in this world where every service provider it seems is trying to extract as much cash from you as possible through up-selling and just downright selling you something you don't need, my many years experience with this company allows me to say with great confidence, this is a company you can trust. The service has always been top notch and at a great value. I don't have to shop around.
