Fantastic company who really cares about providing the highest quality service for their customer. They informed me of each step of their process in repairing my AC and did a fantastic job! They not only provided great service but were professional and upfront as well. The sms/crm system they use is fantastic and made scheduling, communication, and financing a breeze. 10/10 would highly recommend Callahan!

I recently just bought house and I noticed my system hasn't been serviced in a long time. I called Callahan and they were able to make it out quickly. They did a great job by explaining the current condition of the HVAC system and described what they did to keep it running efficiently. Very professional!

This crew is A1! They are a smaller crew but man are they efficient! They have serviced my units a number times now including while my wife was in the hospital in labor with our baby. They were able to get out there on a whim and make sure the air was functioning properly so we could bring our newborn home to a climate controlled environment. These guys feel like family to me, the owners son who’s name is Dylan always shows me what he’s doing to my unit and explains in detail. I’d like to think I could even work on the unit myself but I would rather call these guys. Thanks for all the hard work!!

Daryl and his team were really great to work with. They installed a new furnace and A/C unit for us and made some other repairs. After getting a few different quotes they had the best price and were happy to work with us to meet our specific needs. In the years following the installation they were always responsive and cheerful whenever we needed anything HVAC related. It was fulfilling to work with a smaller, local company because they were familiar with our type and age of house and what we needed. We've moved out-of-state now but we hope we can find a team as helpful and friendly as Callahan's for our new place.

Home Warranty company would not assign the company I know and trust. Callahan's did a great job quickly installing the new unit which is now not working only three months later. Callahan so far is having me troubleshoot based on his advice over the phone while he is "waiting on a response from the Manufacturer (Goodman) to see what the problem may be. IF he comes out after we've already had several days without hvac on the first floor and actually fixes this thing with out running me in circles and charging me an arm and a leg, I will eat my own words and change this review.

Absolutely horrible, unprofessional service.

Callahan's was chosen by our home warranty provider to make a repair to our non-operative AC unit. A large, reputable local HVAC company had already made a comprehensive diagnosis of the problem, but were not on our home warranty company's list of providers. Thus, Callahan's was given the nod for the work.

Daryl Callahan and an associate made a service call on a Thursday, read the diagnosis made by the other company, took some miscellaneous electrical readings of only the inside AC unit and left saying, "I'll get authorization from the warranty company, order the parts, and we should be able to make the repairs next week". Daryl Callahan concurred with the prior diagnosis that two circuit boards costing an estimated $500 each definitely needed replacing.

Four weeks later, after numerous calls by myself and the warranty company to Callahan's, all of which went unanswered, and absolutely no reply or communication whatsoever to me, the warranty company pulled the plug on Callahan's for grossly unprofessional behavior and assigned the repair to another more reputable company. Daryl Callahan had never communicated with the warranty company to acquire authorization to proceed.

After 6 long weeks, during a very hot July and August in South Carolina, the owner of the replacement company, after thoroughly check both inside and outside AC units, personally diagnosed the problem as a blown $0.15 little fuse in the outside AC unit, replaced the fuse - NOT THE $1000 CIRCUIT BOARDS AS CALLAHAN SUGGESTED - retested the whole system which now worked perfectly, and was gone in about 45 minutes at a cost of only $115.

I don't know if Daryl or his other brother Daryl somehow received the few positive reviews here, but my experience was very poor. I'm only giving 1 star because the survey will not post my response without assigning a star rating. Otherwise, it would be zero stars.

I have to be honest... when I read the reviews about people having bad experiences with home warranty work i started to worry. My ac went out when I was on vacation. We called home warranty company and were referred to Callahan’s. I called Mr. Callahan the next day. He was very polite and professional. He was out that day to assess the situation. Got my unit up and running. When I got home from work it had stopped again. I called him back and he told me not to worry that he would be out first thing the next day. Next day he was here with the part we needed. Changed it got us back up and running. Told us how to keep the unit running longer and more efficiently. So I would recommend Callahan’s to anyone that needs ac repair. Thank you Mr Callahan!

It’s been almost 2 months without A/C. A/C went out. Home warranty said use Callahans. They came out and sorted out the problem. Needed a new unit. Ordered it. Took awhile to come in (expected given supply chain etc). Hadn’t heard anything in a few weeks called and told it would be in the following Tuesday and they would be out later in the week. Never heard from em. Called em 2 weeks later and told would be out later in the week. Didn’t hear a word from them (after adjusting everyone’s schedule to be sure someone would be home when they came/called. Called them again the following week and again told would be out later in the week and once again never heard from them. It’s in the 90’s can’t use the upstairs. Kids sleeping on the couch. Delays happen I know but repeatedly saying one thing and not doing it is unprofessional at best. Now having to go through home
Warranty to find alternative service provider.
