Received call from my wife that the A/C stopped working yesterday. Called Andy who asked me to call office. Mary quickly scheduled me and Andy came out to repair yesterday evening. Great customer service.
EF Martin has serviced our HVAC systems for 20 years and provided consistently good service. Most recently, Jeremy performed our semi-annual maintenance. He was professional, efficient, courteous and thorough. His written report was meticulous. Highly recommend.
I cannot say enough good things about EF Martin. Their service is the best you will find. We had an issue with our hvac and Dennis came out on a sunday evening and worked hard to diagnose the issue and could not have been any more professional. He had to return the next day with the part and got everything working again. The service from the entire organization was awesome and especially from Dennis. Thank you.
I have been with EF Martin for many years and I can truly say that Jeremy knows what he is doing. He checked everything thoroughly and cleaned my unit as well. He found 1 thing that needed to be replaced and showed me what the problem was and informed me as well which made me trust him even more. I have requested Jeremy from now on to do my inspections. Did exactly what they said, pricing was good, and stood by their labor guarantee when needed. They always showed up early rather than running behind, which is rare these days. *Update* 29 Jan 2021: Had a heating issue late tonight. I called the 24 hour service line and had a tech (Jeremy T.) at my door less than an hour later. Jeremy was able to resolve my issues quickly due to his ability to efficiently troubleshoot the system. I once again am thankful for this company and their outstanding customer service and support. I cannot give a big enough rating to this company. I have dealt with several HVAC issues over the years and have used several companies (Northpoint, 2nd Wind, Spring Valley). Some of those are better than others, but E.F. Martin has been waaaaay better than any other company I have used. I simply cannot recommend them enough, nor can I fully express my gratitude after years of frustration dealing with other companies and at times being blatantly lied to and screwed. Thank you E.F Martin crew!
I am very impressed! I called on a Friday night at around 8:30-9:00 expecting to leave a voicemail because our AC wasn’t blowing cold and it was 82 degrees where our kids sleep. I actually got someone 😳 and they had the on call technician call me in less than 10 minutes. He was about 30 minutes from our house and headed right over. In less than 2 hours from the time I called late on a Friday night they had our house cooling down. I’m floored! Such great customer service. Definitely recommend!!!
Today I had E F Martin come out to evaluate my heat pump that I did not feel was working properly. Jeremy T was the technician. He was very nice and very thorough. He explained everything to me and was very helpful. He described everything that my unit needed. I am extremely impressed!!!
EF Martin has been an answer to a prayer. They are highly professional and care about their customers. Extremely knowledgeable and reassuring. They patched me up when my AC suddenly died, then gave me options to work with my budget to replace my old HVAC unit. All of their employees have been very courteous and hard workers. They show up on time, they communicate well, and the do excellent work. Their maintenance plan for your HVAC is a no brainer. EF Martin is big enough to follow through on commitments like maintenance, but small enough to know each of their customers personally.
Very polite and professional. Tech quickly addressed the issues with my unit and got the cool air flowing again before discussing possible long term solutions to our problems. Pricing was very reasonable compared to other companies I’ve used in the past. Will definitely use them again.
Working with EF Martin was not a good experience for me. The communication was terrible all around.
The front person used a lot of industry talk to describe the systems (entire HVAC and duct work replaced); I had to do a lot of research to ask the right questions, and even then it was difficult to understand the specifics of the various systems I was considering and compare with other systems offered by other HVAC companies. While eventually I felt like I had enough information to make a decision, it was not because they provided good, understandable information, but because of the research I did on my own.
The worst, however, was that they put in the wrong AC unit. I would have never known except that when it came time to fill out the rebate information, I found that it was a lower SEER rating than what I paid for. Note, I don't believe it was intention, but it still happened.
Then, even worse, I had to argue with them to get them to come out and replace the unit with the correct one, the one I purchased. Instead of offering me a discount for the error and my trouble, they offered me the difference in the rebate I was to receive from the electric company but NOT to replace the unit with the one that I had purchased (the difference was not enough to cover what was paid, and I would have been left with a less efficient system).
They also installed the unit right above the house water spout, so it's incredibly hard to turn on the outdoor water.
Finally, the cost for the unit included a checkup in the first year. It's been 15 months since I had the unit replaced and have not heard a peep from them.
Like others that posted here, I did research and received recommendations. Maybe it was just the luck of the draw, but terrible experience and I would not recommend.
