My elderly parents had air conditioning issues and they went the next morning. Unfortunately they needed a new air conditioner and furnace. ZIM immediately fit them in, everyone from office to techs were amazing. Not only will we continue to have them work with my parents, but we will now become customers. Great job!!
Great service and expertise. They were responsive, professional and honest in determining our chronic AC issue. Installation was done almost immediately on a new unit. ZIM is a friendly team who is easy to work with - I highly recommend.
Our aged furnace went out in February. Peter worked diligently to see if it could be fixed but it was ultimately time to install a new unit and A/C too. Our A/C unit was just as old and having some trouble. Holly in the office was patient and knowledgeable in helping us decide among our options, costs and available rebates. Paul and Peter worked diligently and professionally, keeping us informed of every step, answering all our questions and were respectful in every way, working a long day to get the old unit out and new one up and running. Paul returned last week to finish the A/C install and once again, was great to work with. The team from ZIM certainly live up to their promise of working with integrity. We are happy to recommend ZIM.

ZIM seems like a honest well ran family-owned business. The tech they sent out, Pual, was very knowledgeable. He not only fixed our problem but answered all of our questions. which was a a lot. He made sure the problem was actuality fixed checking the air flow around the house. He also didn't try to upsell us on anything and gave us pointers on how to keep it running for a long time.
I am very pleased with Zim Heating. The installation of my new furnace was done neatly and very professionally. They cleaned everything up and answered all my questions. I will certainly use Zim again and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a new furnace.

Our furnace went out a Christmas Day night, on a Sunday, during a cold spell and the entire family rallied and came to our aid to help us. We had our furnace go out on New Years eve 2022 and ZIM Heating & Cooling were quick to respond to get their services to us by the following week! Great service from Chris and Paul! Quick and efficient work on the day of the install for the new furnace. Their office staff is great to work with too. Holly is great to work with to get our financing for the unexpected purchase. Would definitely recommend ZIM Heating and Cooling to anyone who needs HVAC work!

I received an invoice for work done on October 11 on November 23 and a check was mailed on November 29. You would not have to give people extra time to pay if you would invoice them in a timely manner. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

ZIM Heating and Cooling is a reputable business whose employees have the highest integrity! They are very respectful of their customer's property and leave one's home as clean as it was when they arrived. They also arrive on time and stay till the work is done. Chris, the owner, and his two sons explain everything in words that are easy for the layperson to understand. As a single woman, this is a business with employees one can trust! I would highly recommend this business to anyone who requires heating and cooling services.
In addition to a routine maintenance visit for our furnace, the ZIM crew diagnosed what was wrong with our elderly AC unit, gave us options, and offered their professional recommendations. Ultimately, we had them install a new A/C. They were quick to get the necessary components in stock and even worked us into an already packed schedule for a weekend installation during a heat wave. Communication was excellent throughout. The installers were punctual, professional, and tidy. The whole process took just under 4 hours, and they took away all the old equipment for us. We will definitely use them again, both for our annual maintenance and for any future repairs. These are genuinely nice guys and honest to boot. It's right in their name: INTEGRITY!
ZIM has been working with me since the inception of the company and I have experience with Chris going back to 2014. This group of guys is by far the best at HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler systems, fabrications, troubleshooting, repairs, automation, suggestions and education. Their ability to answer a call to repair something is great. Their ability to suggest changes to make improvements is awesome. Their willingness to help is second to none. Chris and his team have been monumental in reducing GE Healthcare Madison's carbon foot print by 30% annually with the chilled water system improvements they were able to help me out with. The ZIM team has also improved our boiler capabilities, free cooling capabilities, PM schedules, consumables usage, preventative testing and machine performance which has brought us to a steady state where we no longer have heating and cooling issues. ZIM has also helped improve our fire suppression systems to where our Monthly PMs are simplistic, cost effective and to the point. I would recommend ZIM to anyone looking to improve their HVAC systems, fire suppression systems and plumbing concerns. Also, if you are looking for a partner that is there to help at an honest fee, ZIM is your company to use! Thank you to ZIM for all you have done for me in my professional career to improve all of the systems we have worked on together over the past 8 years!
They put in a new furnace and air conditioner. They were prompt. The new airconditioner works very well. Our last one never worked well even when it was new on the hottest days. Thanks!
ZIM was great in educating us on our options when our AC broke down in the middle of the summer. They didn’t try to sell us, rather show us the pros and cons of each option available. We had them put in a new heating and cooling system and were even able to finance it over a few months. They had the system installed in 2 days and it has been working better than our previous system with less energy cost. They are very responsive when I have questions about the system and the space was cleaned up and looking great when they left. Highly recommend ZIM!
They installed a new furnace, air and hot water heater. Prompt, friendly. They cleaned up after themselves, relocated our thermostat and provided great instructions on setting it up and programming it.
Chris and his team did an excellent job installing the furnaces and air conditioner in our home. They are very responsive and professional. The job was completed on time as promised. The cleanup after the job was done was very good as well. Overall ZIM was competitively priced, their work was excellent, and I would encourage anyone who needs heating and air conditioning work to be done to contact Chris. 5 star rating for sure!!
