First, the service was fine, and I had no problems with the tech that came out. The capacitor was faulty on my unit; however, I’m not usually one to fix electrical stuff. After reading all the reviews, I assumed they would be reasonable on prices and service. The gentleman switched out my capacitor relatively quick. After researching and seeing every single store listing capacitors for 13-50 dollars, with multiple sites that list the same capacitor for $15-25, I assumed they would charge around that price or maybe a little more for the capacitor. To my shock, they charged $256 for this very cheap part. I was going out of town and needed it fixed then, so I agreed to just pay that price. I understand inflation and charging more because it’s a business, but the company has no excuse to up-charge a simple cheap part that much. They may do good work but if using them, be very cautious on how much they charge for parts. I will be needing to replace my unit likely in the next few years, and I plan to go elsewhere.
I have had many HVAC companies in my home unsure of what to do to solve years of no heat. Brookfield Heating diagnosed the situation immediately, provided pricing within hours and I had a new furnace installed within a week. My house has heat finally. This shouldn't be so special but it truly is. I would recommend them over and over! Jeff, Jeff and John were fantastic!

Great company with great people. Sarah and Jeff are hands down some of the kindest and most responsive people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Very competitively priced, great options, and easy quoting walk through. Day of install they put down tarps to protect flooring, worked quick, and the whole crew was incredibly polite, efficient, and worked around our kids nap schedule to manage noise which was above and beyond. Couldn't recommend them enough!

Jeff's team installed an american standard 2.5 ton silver 16 central air conditioner today and they did an outstanding professional job.3 years ago Jeff installed an American standard 2 stage furnace and we were equally impressed, in addition to a humidifier last december.If you are looking for a reliable product for your heating and cooling needs along with superior service give brookfield heating a call, you will not be disappointed.

Ok experience for AC repair. The tech was young. He found an issue with the board on the furnace. He never even checked the AC unit, which we had serviced at the beginning of the year by a different company who suspected a refrigerant leak. The board repair was smooth but he left without ensuring things were working. There was still no pressure and no cool air coming out. Luckily he was still in our driveway. I pleaded with him to please check the outside unit and refrigerant and finally after getting his boss on the phone he did. Sure enough, it was down two pounds of refrigerant! Whoops. Two apologies to me. I was not pleased that they argued with me about things even though I couldn’t understand how they could diagnose the problem without checking the system. I’m so glad I insisted they do it or I would’ve been stuck for days without air. His boss promised me to email me with information about new units that say. It’s been 5 days— still haven’t seen it. Overall they got the job done but I’m ready to look at a new system and I’m not sure I have confidence in them after our experience.

Truly great experience with Brookfield Heating & Cooling. It's always an emergency when AC or furnace goes out. The repair process for our AC was fast, complete, and very affordable. Can't thank these guys enough for being so professional and also for explaining exactly what was wrong and how they were going to fix it. Five stars. Will be calling them again in the future for maintenance or repair.
5/21 Second year of seasonal checkup of furnace and AC. This company never disappoints. I received a reminder text yesterday, a text and a phone call from the tech when he was within 30 min of arrival. The tech, Javier, was professional, courteous and thorough. Very pleased and set for another year! 4/19. Excellent service for a complete HVAC replacement. From the initial contact with Jeff for an estimate, through the completed installation by Dan and his assistant, the team was courteous, professional and on time. The attention detail during the install was impressive. Could not be happier with this company.
We had Javier come by and check our AC system for the season and he/ the service was great. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and he answered all of our questions.

They installed two new A/C units for us at our rental property. Very professional, friendly and affordable. We obtained multiple quotes and not only were they the most reasonable, they offered higher quality options. They were able to quote and install what we needed right away, and left the place clean when they were finished. : )
