We had purchased a new construction home in 2015. BJ was the HVAC company who installed the unit in 2014 during building. As soon as we moved in the heater did not work, also have countless problems with the AC within 3 years. Then to make matters worse we have another issue 6 years after install; BJs nor the contractor registered the unit, so the warranty instead of lasting 10 years only is good for 5. There was no way I could have registered it, because I didn't even buy the house till March of 2015 when install was July of 2014, way more than 90 days. Thankfully another HVAC company registered it when they fixed it numerous times, still too late though. I wouldn't use these people to provide heating and air to my dog house.
I have never met a more incompetent technician in my life. He couldn't even diagnose or fix my condenser. I ended up using a different company and it was a broken control wire. I had just hit the wire with my weedeater mowing the lawn. The other company charged me $89 it took all of 3 minutes. Why their technician was there for 2 hours and couldn't understand anything I will never know.

Sylvester just came and fixed our blower motor on A/C unit. SUPER job! He was focused, professional, knowledgeable and best of all QUICK on a mighty warm South Texas day. Thanks BJ's and Sylvester you all are our go to HVAC folks from now on !!
BJ's Heating and Air installed a Trane mini-split for our garage. Sylvester was very professional and had the job done in no time. The garage is so nice to work in now when it gets too hot outside! I highly recommend BJ's to anyone who's looking for a reputable company that provides great service as an excellent price!
Reasonable and honest.
I purchase and installed my Carrier Unit with BJ's Heating & Air several years ago. I always have annual service maintenance with them to prepare for the high heats of the summer. In 2019 BJ's Heating & Air seem they are not interested in my service. I called three times within several weeks and all three times I was told when an opening is available they will call me. They will put me on a list and when available they will call. I asked for Sylvester several times and he has not called me. This is extremely odd because he and or office would call immediately, and within a few days unit was serviced. I would be extremely cautious and not rely on them after a purchase because usually this is a sign of internal problems effecting overall service.
