Our home needed service after the winter storm on a late Sunday night. We contacted multiple businesses but Richard was the only one to respond and show up. Gave upfront pricing and 5 star service, would be the only company I recommend for anyone’s air or heating issues.
They are very thorough and care about the work they do. They do a great job without rushing it.

Was having trouble with our Ecobee 3 lite thermostat settings for the Heat pump and Gas furnace to run proper, called and was walked through setting up proper settings and believe me it works fine since. I believe all small business need to have the quality of response Fox Air & Heat showed me. Thanks again Richard.

On Saturday night our AC went out, I called him Sunday morning, and within 2 hrs Richard was onsite diagnosing the issue. He told us what the cheapest option was, explained why he recommended some improvements, to help get more life from an old unit, and then drafted up an invoice for what he’d recommend we replace our system with. I like Richard’s approach to helping us. He explained the problem and what caused it, he then told us what he could do to fix the problem and improve our system to have it working optimally for as long as we can. And then he let is make the decision. He had the parts in stock and had the AC working before he left.
Our AC went out around 11PM on Saturday night. I started making calls and sending out requests around 6:30AM Sunday morning. Richard was on of the few who responded quickly with upfront pricing. He was at my house at 9AM Sunday so my husband, toddler and I didn’t have to suffer through the heat of the day. What I appreciated most was how thoroughly he explained why my AC was not working, what needed to be fixed, and what the long term plan would be. My system is old, so it’s not a surprise that it’s giving up. He didn’t try to upsell us or push a new system on us, he just gave us the facts and helped us plan for the future. He’s going to write us a estimate so we have an idea what we need to save for. I was nervous about being taken advantage of, but Richard is the real deal. I would recommend him to anyone I know!
My wife and moved to Texas this past weekend. We have a house and a barndominium. We had movers coming in this past Monday, so we wanted to stay in the semi furnished barndominium so the movers wouldn't disturb our pets, we were disappointed to find the AC wasn't working however. Richard (the owner) came out on Sunday and addressed the issue for us. It was a minor problem with a pump on the condensation tray, and so he re-plumbed it so it was gravity fed instead of a mechanical pump that could fail periodically. He was truly a pleasure to meet and he only fixed what needed to be fixing. We are going to be using him going forward. Thanks Richard!

One of the best companies arround. Richard returned phone call very promptly and made me fill like i was the only customer that mattered, even though i know he was very busy. When he arrived Richard did the work and made sure it was 100% before he left. I will always use fox for all my heat and air needs. Richard installed my ac 8 years ago and still remembered who we were so not just a number. I can not say enough about how great i hold Richard and Fox ac for all he does. Thank you!.
I work as a Project Manager for a Dallas-based commercial general contractor and deal with all kinds of HVAC companies on a regular basis. I chose to use Fox Air & Heat on my home because Richard consistently outperforms my expectations, even outperforming his own commitments to each project. We began using Richard several years ago for periodic maintenance on our previous residence. When it came time to change out the equipment we turned to Richard (but, I also got pricing from other similar companies). The 2 commercial companies were way too expensive. The 2 residential companies were 20-30% more expensive than Richard’s estimate. So, because of price we chose Fox Air & Heat - I was skeptical, thinking he can maintain a system but wouldn’t be able to install the new system in a VERY tight closet and the outside unit required upsizing. I was shocked and quickly proven wrong! Not only did he perform the changeout quickly (1-day) cleanly and efficiently. We had just installed wood floors and he took special precaution to not damage anything! Again, the location was very closed in and difficult. Then we moved and the second home we bought used, and the equipment was ready to replace immediately. ALSO, the ductwork had to be replaced throughout. The ducts had deteriorated to a point where they were not efficient. We had 2 separate systems (upstairs/downstairs) and replaced the 2 systems with a single Variable Volume system using a 5-ton condensing unit outside and a single gas-fired furnace in the attic. These systems are very tricky to install and program - but in the end they are far more efficient than conventional systems. Richard designed the system himself and installed with the help of one other person, taking only 2 days to replace all ductwork, equipment and thermostats throughout the home. After this was all done I had the comfort of knowing we had a completely new system with fresh clean ductwork throughout the home. He also installed an in-line ultraviolet

Richard is both honest and professional in servicing your A/C unit. He explains the issue(s) and gives the best option(s) towards servicing your A/C. He understands affordability and gives his best pricing repair work possible. He is my go to person when I have any heating or air conditioning questions or issues. He will do his best to fit you in his schedule even in the busiest of his working days and hours. Especially through those hot summer months. I highly recommend his services.

My family would recommend FOX Air to anyone. The owner, Richard, oversaw the installation of two new units in our home. He and his staff were thorough and professional every step of the way. We also needed upgraded thermostats and duct reworking. It was a massive undertaking but they got it all done in a timely manner. We are so happy with our new system and are enjoying the benefits of the energy efficiency.

When our old unit went out, we called Richard at Fox Air to come and see what he could do. He sat with us and went over all our options in detail. The installation went smooth. Richard is prompt in notifying us when our annual service is due. He is a very diligent worker, and most respectful in his dealings with us.
