Michael is the best hands down. I will never use anyone else as long as he is around. He's done repairs for me before, he installed a new system for my sister and he just installed a new system for me. Look no further than Michael as your go to guy for all HVAC AC work.
Michael is professional, honest and experienced. He take the time to really diagnose the issues and give good explanations of what he is doing, what he finds and what is needed to repair the issue. I gladly recommend Van Ness Heating and Air.
After being quoted an astronomical amount to replace a condenser, we started calling around. Van Ness Heating & Air was fast to respond, came out quickly to assess the unit, and gave us a much more reasonable quote. We are very happy with the service provided. Beyond that, Michael actually spoke to me and not just to my husband which is unfortunately a big deal to me since it is so rare. Michael is beyond professional and I would recommend him to anyone.

I definitely would recommend Van Ness Heating and Air. I shopped five different companies getting estimates on a new Heating and AC unit. I felt very frustrated with the wide range of up selling until I met Michael with Van Ness. He was very professional, really looking at my home and taking the time to explain everything to me. Once again, Michael is great to work with. I contacted Michael late Monday afternoon about our clogged condensate line for our unit in the attic. Condensate water was filling our drain plan and service was needed quickly. By Tuesday afternoon, he was out and performed the work to clear the lines. All done in less than 24 hours. Just tremendous customer service. Thanks Michael!

Great customer service!
I guess it was all for the money. After buying the system from Van Ness Heating and Air we were unable to get a response about questions we had. Maybe it was because we asked his workers to wear masks while working in our home. He had been servicing our AC for several years. I’ll leave the previous review intact as I am a unsure as to why our calls went unanswered. Prior to our buying the new system: , I requested his opinion about updating our system. He advised we didn’t necessarily need a new system but if we wanted it and could afford it he gave us his recommendation. At this time I think we made the right decision for us and for our guests to always be comfortable.
You will not meet a more honest AC man in the business. Michael Van Ness will never try to sell you anything you don't need. He knows HVAC units inside and out and more importantly, he knows how to fix them at a fair and reasonable price.
Michael was on time and thoroughly explained everything that needed to be done. He was friendly and competent and we will definitely be calling with any future AC issues
Van Ness Heating and Air replaced my 30-year old furnace. in the attic. They did a great job on a small repair several months ago so I thought I would try them for this larger project and was very impressed. Great communication, prompt efficient and they cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommended.

Mike Van Ness is amazing and always does an incredibly thorough job! Today he rescued my 17-year-old AC system. He was at my house within 20 minutes of my call! Although the problem was unconventional, Mike managed to diagnose the problem and get everything fixed. Mike runs a great HVAC service company that I have used gladly for many years! He is incredibly skilled, honest, and dependable! You don't find many in the service industry like Mike!
