This repair company is the best company in Texas! Their prices are HONEST and work is done CORRECTLY! This is the company you NEED to use, because of how honest and caring they are about their work. Save yourself the time, and call this company first!
I had to come on here and do a review for this awesome company! My husband had Texas Star come out to our home a couple weeks ago because our AC went out...we just bought this house recently...so it was very upsetting. Ron came out and was HONEST with his findings, he didn't try to take advantage of us or the situation, he simply fixed what needed to be fixed, and saved us from what we thought would need to be a full replacement. We know one day we will be looking at having to replace the entire system, but Ron addressed the areas that were causing the problem, and only charged us for what absolutely needed to be replaced. Our AC is running beautifully now, it's nice and quiet...whereas before it sounded like a jet engine taking off, and our electric bill even went down! We just wanted to say how much we appreciate a company with integrity and honesty, which is a hard thing to find these days. We are very grateful, and will be sure we go through Texas Star for all our HVAC needs! Thank you Ron! (Gilbert Family)
Called Ron at Texas Star on a Saturday evening when my a/c quit on me. Returned my call within 10 minutes and was on site in less than an hour. He is a true professional that takes pride in his work and absolutely knows what he is doing. Was able to fix some of the faulty work that previous company had done and got everything working without trying to sell me more than I need. I will be using them from now on for all my heating and a/c needs
So very happy and happy to say I finally have a heating/ac company that will be my go to. Ron explains everything thoroughly and wants to make sure you are happy with his service. They installed my new heater and more. Did such a great job and his helpers are also so nice and they worked hard and made sure everything was neat and working well. I can’t thank them enough for such great service and reasonable pricing. Give them a call for your air needs. I wish I had found them long ago.

We were lucky enough to find Texas Star years ago to help maintain our A/C and heating units. One A/C unit was original to our 40 year old home. We we did some upgrades to our house a few years back, there was no doubt that we were in the best hands to walk us through what we needed and then to do THE BEST work replacing our A/C units (the original one was still running thanks to Mr. Ron but it was time for it to retire) and Furnace. The job was done above and beyond any great expectation. When you hire Texas Star, you are hiring the best in the business, hands down.
I called to see about getting an estimate to replace my entire HVAC system..... RON asked what my budget was and I informed him that it was of no concern to him. Evidently, it was a major concern to him because he hung up on a prospective NEW client. BUT NOT KNOW !!! NOT LATER !!! NEVER -- NEVER --- NEVER !!!! RON ----- I hope you read this (MY BUDGET is six figures $$$,$$$ ---- CASH)
These guys charged more than $500 for sanitizer and cleaning solutions. They installed the AC system back in 2016. When I requested service recently, Ron told me the AC filter was bad and needs to be replaced. Then he said he replaced the compressors and cleaned the system. The total charge was $1225. When I told him that the compressor should be covered under warranty then he sent me a bill with charging 0 dollar for compressor and bumping up prices for others to cover compressor prices. These guys do not have ethics and please be aware of this before requesting their services. I find them very unprofessional.
Texas star heating & cooling has earned my service for life! My AC unit stopped working on Saturday over Memorial day weekend. Another company came out, told me they couldn't repair it and it needed to be replaced. I started looking for a second opinion. Ron answered my call and came immediately. He walked me through the work he was doing and showed me the part that was bad. He explained everything he did and answered all of my questions. Ron was incredibly thorough, informative, and most importantly HONEST! He repaired my "unrepairable" AC for a very fair price instead of trying to sell me a new one i didn't need. I can't recommend him enough! Thank you Ron!
I have contracted Texas Star Heating and Cooling a couple time now, when previously I didn't even keep contractors contact information due to their service. Ron with Texas Star H&C is extremely knowledgeable and gets the job done, at a competitive price. He shows up when he says he will! I cannot say enough about his company. If you are looking for an honest HVAC contractor, look no further!
I looked for a recommendation on Facebook and after multiple people recommended Ron, I gave him a call. He arrived at my home within an hour of calling, and was very polite and professional. He checked my AC system, realized I needed a new fan motor. He went through and explained not only the need for a new motor, but why the other one wasn’t working properly. He was kind, respectful, and efficient. He made sure to clean up after himself, and I feel like he went above and beyond to make sure I was getting a good deal. I would highly recommend anyone that needs HVAC needs contact Ron!

Whenever we have called him, he has responded immediately and in many instances even managed to provide a service call SAME DAY! If not same day, he would arrive in a day or two. Excellent customer service! Was able to fix my air conditioner within an hour from the time of arrival. Very reasonable and fair price for emergency work on a Sunday. Took time to explain to me what repair he did. Will call them again.

Had a great experience this past year with Texas star. Ron came out quickly, got the job done at a fair price, and gave a lot of advice about diagnostics I can do myself and gave tips on future things I may want to plan for WITHOUT a sales pitch. Would highly recommend, and plan to use in the future.
I called Texas Star on Sunday morning Ron answered phone and I told him we are a highend spa and we can not afford AC not working, he said he will be here in 45 minutes and here he came and he fixed the problem with very fair price, no service call fee . just for coming in on Sunday morning so quick , already tell me he cares , he understands. We definitely recommend him and his business to business owners need commercial AC work. if you need more reference, you are free to call us to speak to us in person.
I had my a.c. quit during record breaking heat. Ron and Jose were working on a big project many miles from me. They came out within 2 hours. Fixed problem and explained why. They showed me where and how to prevent recurrence. I was not maintaining unit as needed, my fault but LESSON LEARNED. THE MOST HONEST AND DEPENDABLE company I have ever worked with. Yes, worked with as they want to repair but also teach me how to make my unit last. I am 71 years old, so I know what a rarity their VALUES are.
