Tech arrived very late , truck was leaking oil and got it all over my driveway Paid for diagnostics but did not do any diagnostic ,found relay switch that popped out and just flipped it and charged me for relay replacement .Despite the charge I was happy that problem was fixed .But 2 weeks latter the relay has popped again . I have called the other company and they diagnosed problem correctly .Our compressor on 27 year old R 22 system was the problem , thats why relays constantly pops. Its quite common on old units . Dishonest dishonorable individuals without backbone . They will be receiving letter from my lawyer soon.

My air conditioner decided to start making noises like metal pieces in a popcorn machine loud enough to wake the dead. I called Able and they scheduled me for a few days out - much sooner than other companies. The morning of the appointment as I was making sure there was clear access to the unit I discovered what was probably making the noise. A poor mouse had been trapped and was being thrown around by the blades. It had been dead for quite awhile. I removed it and did some clean up. I did not cancel the appointment as I wanted to make sure this was truly the reason. Ken was able to come 3 hours earlier than expected (yay)! I told him what I thought happened and he thoroughly checked everything out just to be sure. He even went to the furnace and checked the temperature output as well as the filter there. He was so personable and we both had a good laugh at the scenario. I would not hesitate to call Able Heating and Cooling again.

The entire Able team was extremely responsive, considerate, and professional in all aspects of our multi-head mini split system installation. We had a short time window, and some additional access coordination needs to accommodate a family members medical condition. The office team went above and beyond our expectations to shift schedules around fall within our available dates. The installation team was courteous, respectful, and very diligent in explaining functional details of the systems for current as well as advisable maintenance practices. Cost was on par with other bids though layouts and expandability features were more prohibitive on the systems recommended by other servicers. I previously utilized Able when my furnace went out over a holiday weekend a couple of years ago and was very satisfied with that experience. The servicer detailed the issue and replaced a defective part without any extra emergency call out fees.

Spectacular service. Again. We used Able to install a heat pump in a previous home and, after that positive experience 10 years ago, again called up Able for a bid when the HVAC in our new home went out. After about six bids, they were again the most fairly priced, responsive, helpful. From Ken the service repairman who first came out, to Louis in sales and Brandon/Justin on "Install Team 1," I have been nothing but impressed. Every single person explained the process to me from front to back, patiently and thoroughly. I've felt informed, treated fairly, safe and confident about my purchase. (Bonus points: not one of them asked to talk to my husband instead, which happens all the time!). I can't emphasize enough how much trust I put in this team. Brandon and Justin came out for the install and really went the extra mile. They were SO patient with me, and even problem-solved a low air flow issue that I'm positive is going to save me hundreds. They did so without complaint, at the end of a very long and hot day, and with a smile. They spent all day installing a huge AC and carrying a furnace 18 feet up a ladder into my ceiling, and still had time at the end of the day for customer service. And then they left without a trace. This is my new go-to place. I won't even bother going anyplace else.

The owner agreed with me , that the receptionist miss-spoke and quoted me a very incorrect amount that I would be charged. I received an email from the owner, stating to me that I would be refunded the difference. It is a ( significant amount ) , however after a week of phoning the company asking why it hasn't happened yet, they will not return my calls. They are ignoring me :( and I have decided to give up. So unfortunate. I had to share with the person that recommended them, that everything was not done to what most people would probably think is the minimum. I wish it would have been made right. -----> I'd be happy to share the email from the owner, if anyone wants to see it, I am not believed. Its a problem with courtesy nowadays.
