I had a great experience with Petra Heating company. Andy, the technician, was professional, courteous, and pleasant. Jo, the office staff, was also very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend Petra Heating company to anyone in need of HVAC services.
Rick was very nice and friendly on time and very professional. He also gave us education on the unit and safety measures and was family friendly so we really enjoyed him and the service this morning. Will Always recommend this company!
We had the most amazing experience with a tech ever. Jason was amazing and thorough and had a great personality. My Dad told me about Matt and his crew but this was far beyond what I'd hoped for. This company is the best! We worked with three members of their team and ALL of them were amazing - Polite and competent. Our situation was with the A/C on the hottest weekend of the year (so far) and they managed to fit us in! We highly recommend this company for heating and air conditioning, you will be happy you chose them!!
Our AC went out on the hottest day of the year. After calling several places this was the only place who returned my phone call. I didn't even leave a message as I was hot, tired and frustrated after coming home to a very hot house after work. But Jason called back anyways to apologize for missing the call and to see if he could help. It was 7 in the evening and he had no problem driving from Beaverton to Happy Valley to take a look at our unit. He was there within the hour. We were very happy that he was able to repair our AC. He was efficient, friendly and very easy to work with. Would definitely use these guys in the future :) Thank you again for getting us up and running again right before bedtime!
I've used this company more than once and find them to be honest, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. The techs really do know their stuff and they stand behind their work. Would never hire anyone else now!
We hired Petra Heating & AC a few years back to do a repair on our AC unit and all is still working great! In addition, Andy has serviced our furnace and AC since, and has been great to work with. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable. We will definitely be using Petra in the future for all of our HVAC needs.

EDIT: Sarah called me after seeing the initial review I left- and said what I wrote was not adding up. The tech (owner) had notes on our account that did not match with what actually happened. Communication needs improvement here. Still disappointed in the service I received.

The whole crew here is awesome! We needed furnace and heat pump work and they came to the rescue and at very competitive prices. Very knowledgeable, honest and friendly staff. They know what they’re doing.
Furnace quit working Jan 28th early morning. I found Petra online and filled my information in at Petra site early morning of Jan 29th. I called later that morning and Becky was able to schedule service that same morning between 9am acupuncture and 11am car service. Rick discovered the problem in about a minute, ignitor. He had part in van. $109 for service, $162 for part. House had got down to low 50's so I was thrilled to have heat again. Absolutely will use Petra next time I have a furnace issue. I called Petra for indoor air quality issues. The office was very pleasant and easy to work with. Scheduling was a breeze and the technician, Matt, arrived on time. Matt was extremely professional and went the extra mile to explain what work was being done and how the technology worked. My house has two furnaces and I had air scrubbers installed in both. The air scrubbers work amazingly well. Even with all of the smoke outside, our indoor air quality is great. I have recommended Petra to my friends and family already. From start to finish, my experience with Petra was a 10.
I had Petra replace our gas furnace with a new Mitsubishi heat pump in our goal of going all-electric at our home. The management team was super responsive and took the time to do all of the calculations to make sure our home would be comfortable including noting how much insulation we had in the house, the windows, the sizes of the rooms and came up with solutions for distributing the heat/cool to all of the rooms. The installation team showed up right on schedule and Jose and Freddy were super conscious of our family and pets while they were doing the work. Their work was clean and efficient and they were great with communicating to us throughout. I really can't recommend this team highly enough. If you are looking for the best team to really do things right and on time I can only recommend Petra!
Petra just installed an AC unit for us. It was a great experience from first contact through inspection. Everyone we came in contact with was easy to work with. I would highly recommend.

I had a new heat pump and air handler installed. Everyone I interacted with at Petra, (sales, installers, office, owner) were friendly and professional. I now have a new heating/AC system in my house that is working perfectly.
