4Front Energy installed a central air conditioning system in my home. They were recommended to me by a reputable contractor. This company excelled in every way. The communication was excellent! The installer took time to figure out the best, most aesthetic location for the AC unit. The city's electrical inspector even commented on how impressed he was with the installer's work. In honesty, I do not remember a company that has been so easy to work with and who provided such top-notch service. By far, the best!
They came and cleaned all of our HVAC ducts. The technician was very friendly and professional. They didn't leave a mess and I know my vents are cleaned. We will definitely use them again!
After receiving quotes from several vendors, all of which said they don't like installing heatpumps in Minnesota, I ran across 4front's booth at a trade show. They had lots of demo equipment onsite and looked like they had a system that seemed to match what I wanted, a heatpump tied to a whole-house high efficiency furnace. The price was comparable with a high efficiency system from another vendor, but with the added benefit of less carbon emissions when the temperature is more mild. The after-sales process was nice - they assisted with rebates, and confirmed that the system was working right. My brother commented that he was surprised that my entire system was replaced in less than a day. He said another vendor took took 2 days to install his. Mine took only slightly longer than an afternoon to install.
4Front was great from the start. I quickly got to talk (or text if you prefer) to get a quote and set up a date. They were the cheapest options I found in the area as well. Our technician Robert was super polite and friendly. As new home owners we didn't know much about HVAC's and Robert took the time to walk us through the basics. Super happy with the service and I feel like I can keep going to them for services without being taken advantage of!
Super happy about my experience with this business. They were able to come out quickly, were extremely knowledgeable on what my issue was, solved it quickly and ended up being even less expensive than I was expecting. I definitely recommend them and plan on using them again for any future services needed.
The last thing you want in February in Minnesota is (unexpectedly) needing to replace your furnace. Thankfully, 4Front Energy was quick to get us scheduled for an install. Rachel made sure we got the best price available and helped get our Xcel rebate submitted. The whole process was smooth and everyone we interacted with was knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend!
Rob was very helpful, informative and efficient! We won a free air duct cleaning and there were absolutely no strings attached! We will definitely consider using this company again! :)
This company really stands by their work. I worked with their team for almost a year to figure out an issue I was having with my heat pump (turned out to be a faulty thermostat, not their installation crew’s fault). 4 Front always called me right back and scheduled me for an appointment as soon as possible. All the work was considered warranty work as well and I was never charged. I’ve never had customer service like this before and really appreciate it. 4 Front is also they only hvac company I could find that had experience with heat pump installations. All the other guys told me I was crazy to consider one in our climate in MN, but as I write this it is 28F outside and 68F inside with out burning any gas and releasing CO2 into the atmosphere. This heat pump is really going to save me money this winter with the crazy gas prices too. Their knowledge of and willingness to install new technologies really speaks to the commitment 4 Front has to their clients. I HIGHLY recommend using them for all of your hvac needs. Update: I was still having issues with my system after the new thermostat was installed. 4Front has been exceptional over the past 3 months to figure out the issue. They always called me right back, believed what I told them, and stuck by their product. I think we finally got it fixed!! Big shout out to Ryan for really giving me great service. You guys are the best! I truly appreciate all you have done for me.
4Front Energy is absolutely the best service related company I have delt with in the past 10+ years of my experience in needing work done on our home. Their communication service is top notch. Absolutely so friendly during my first call to them about what we needed for service, and then they followed through and helped plan the product needed for installation. Once on-site, the Service Plumber was very prompt, friendly, and most importantly did an incredible job. The fit and finish was absolutely outstanding. I am a perfectionist and they met my expectations 100%. They did a great job explaining what was done, and cleaned up everything flawlessly and payment and completion of the job was so easy. I know I have a place I can trust and go to for all my needs that they provide and I will be recommending them to everyone of my family and friends in the Twin Cities area that they service. If you want excellent service, at a great price, with excellent workmanship, look no further than 4Front Energy.

Install was set up by a seperate. company. Left stains on my steps coming up from the basement. Knocked the screen door out of the frame and bent the screen frame (which I had just rescreened!!) Denied doing it. Now I am left having to steam clean the steps and replace the screen door!

Just received amazing services from Tico (sp?) at 4 Front Energy Solutions. We used them thru our Xcel Homesmart plan. He was so helpful, solved our A/C issues and offered so many helpful tips to keep it going. He does a great job! Thank you!!
2 weeks & north of a dozen phone calls to fix a water heater. I would not recommend the home smart plan. Forefront energy solutions is the only service provider in our area and they simply can not keep up.
I was pointed to 4Front through my service plan with Xcel after my furnace stopped working during a wicked cold spell. 4Front was paged at 7pm and I was told they'd respond for scheduling w/i 3-5 hrs. But I didn't hear back. Xcel again paged them the following day 7am. Again, no response. Finally, at 2pm Xcel said I could seek my own company. I called a local HVAC who said they could come by w/i 2 hrs. Finally, I heard from 4Front at 2pm, a full 19 hrs from the first message. I said they weren't responsive, it's too cold to wait, and I went w/ another company. No apology beyond "that's fine" and "we have been really busy". Terrible. Service. Go somewhere else (like Ray Welter Heating and Cooling)!!!
