Wenzel has been excellent when we purchased a new furnace and also in supporting the furnace. When we found out we needed a new furnace, we shopped around and Wenzel had the best price and service. They respond so quickly to email and phone requests. They are kind, friendly and treat you like a real person. We had several very poor experiences with other vendors and Wenzel has always come to the rescue. Their techs are friendly, helpful and explain issues or maintenance needs in terms that are easy to understand. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a new furnace or maintenance on their current furnace.
We have used Wenzel for years. There is no other way to put it other than exceptional. Unfortunately I have been a bit slow getting to my review. The office staff is friendly and the technicians leave no doubt that they know what they are doing. Their knowledge and attention to detail is exceptional.
Responded to web inquiry within minutes first with advice on how to fix myself and then if that didn't work then to schedule an appointment. Who gives free advice anymore?! Did need to schedule an appointment a few months later and Brian was punctual, honest, not pushy and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
I had Wenzel out for preventative maintenance. Steve was punctual and thorough. Ductless AC system is working like it just came from the manufacturer. Highly recommend.
Professional and honest furnace tune up and cleaning. Didn’t try to sell me anything and was polite and friendly. Would recommend!
Had radiator control valve for baseboard heating replaced. Took him 20 mins. Cost $99 visit + $220 parts + $165 for labor. I questioned the 1.5 hours and said it took 45 mins to get the parts and 45 for the service. Lesson learned, get quote ahead of time. Two stars since he was nice guy and did it quick.
What a great experience with this team !! I was looking to replace my Furnace. It was getting old, and I was noticing some strange noises coming from it. When I spoke with Corey, he got right on estimating the furnace, and offered that they could come look at it, and repair in stead of replace, if I was interested. He explained their warranty on repairs, and got me a quote on a new furnace. I decided to replace, and Josh did an incredible job installing the furnace. It was not an easy task by any means, but Josh did a great job. Insuring it was neat, and all things were out of the way. A truly professional team start to finish.
Great people, good prices and great service.
Shipping and receiving department is good to work with.
We purchased a Bryant AC unit that had the coil and the capicitor fail within 60 days of the labor warranty. We will incur well over 1/3 the cost of the unit in repairs due to this major failure. Wenzel wouldn't stand behind the product they sold us,even though it had a major failure within such a short time of the labor warranty passing. We would expect a company like Wenzel to stand behind their products when a major failure occurs within 60 days of the warranty. Very disappointed.
Excellent service!!! We ended up having to replace our furnace. Kirk Johnson was so helpful in advising us on the best furnace to purchase. Charles did a superb job with installation. Afterwards, Kirk came to our home to inspect the work done. All staff are kind and receptive to our needs. Very professional and prompt in service. We give them our highest recommendation!
The second tech just came out while I was at work and talked to my wife. AC has been out in 90+ heat for 5 days, tech said the AC is running fine but the furnace fan is not working when the AC is set to cool. Said could be a bad control board on the furnace or a issue with the fan motor. Furnace is 5 months old, AC is 3 years old. Now we need to call the company that installed the furnace. My issue here is, I don't need theories, why can't you confirm if the furnace fan motor or control board is damaged, not working properly, etc?
We had a new furnace installed last October. When the idiot reconnected it to the existing A.C. he did so in error, so we're without AC.
Great workers great job
I've used these guys in the past and been happy enough with the service. However, this year I've scheduled appointments three times that they just didn't show up for. No call, no explanation, no nothing. It's pretty irritating.
They have been are go-to source for 20 years whenever we've needed help. Great service, great results.
This is an awesome company. Prompt, courteous and knows what they are doing.
Wenzel installed a new boiler and hot water storage tank for us in our 1910 house. They had the most competitive bid, did excellent work, and have been good about maintenance issues in the years since.
We recently moved into a house that Wenzel's installed a new Furnace and A/C unit in about three years ago. We thought they'd be the best people to go with since they did the installation, they would have a better idea of what was wrong and perhaps give us a deal on fixing it. After spending 99 dollars to have a tech come out and tell us the coil was bad and needed to be replaced, we scheduled them to come out the following week to do the repair. The guy I spoke to on the phone told us that he'd work with us to get us a deal on the repairs since we called them (the original installers of the equipment.) The part was covered under warranty, but the labor wasn't. They wanted to charge us a 55 dollar fee to use a blow-torch, and another 10 dollars for a 2" PVC pipe coupler, plus 40 dollars a pound for the Puron refrigerant. This was in ADDITION to the almost 600 dollars in labor they wanted to charge. They also tacked on an ADDITIONAL 99 dollar service call fee to come out a second day for the install. When all was said and done, the estimated bill was close to 900 dollars to fix something that was covered under a "service bulletin" or basically a recalled part. The fact they wanted to charge us another 99 service call to come back out and install the part after charging 99 dollars to come out and find the problem was the deal breaker for us. We called two other places for and had them give me a quote. Onc said since the part was under a service bulletin that the labor was included, and all I'd need to pay for was the Puron (at 30 dollars a pound by the way!) bringing my total to 180 dollars. Needless to say, we went with those guys. They were here sooner than Wenzel's could have been here too. I'm not sure if they were trying to scam us by having us pay for the labor and then charging Bryant for it too on the back-end under the warranty or what, but they came across as dishonest and the type of place that chooses to nickel and dime you at every chance they get
