5 years ago Total Comfort installed a brand new Lennox brand system for us. For the last 3 years we’ve had issues with our system not working properly. Last week I called Total Comfort to come out and was told that our compressor had gone out for the 3rd time. To say the least I was very frustrated. However, Kendall called Lennox and today they replaced my outside unit. Kendall told me the technician would be at my house by 9:15am. It was then 8:00am. By the time I left work, got to my house the technician was already at my house. He was about 30 minutes early. I have always been very satisfied with the service I have received from Total Comfort. I highly recommend them!!!

Our air conditioner went out on a Sunday night, and we were in a panic! We called Total Comfort on a Monday morning, and they came out that same day. The HVAC Technician they sent was extremely kind, helpful, and just all-around wonderful to work with. Thank you all so much for all your help! You have a customer for life!

The service was good. They came and tried to fix our unit in the pouring rain right before the last ice storm hit. Unfortunately the part was faulty so we still didn't have heat until the following Monday when they brought and installed a second part which did fix that problem. They discovered a switch that needed to be replaced and by the end of that installation they charged twice the amount they quoted us. They are very nice and they did fix the problems. It was just too expensive and they didn't give us any kind of price break when we still had to do without heat for 4 days after paying them.

I needed my 14 year old heat pump system replaced because it was leaking Freon to the point of costing $400 every 3-6 months to recharge it due to the high cost of discontinued R-22. Repairing such an old unit (if even possible) wasn't a smart move. I got 8 quotes for a total system replacement, and theirs was the best (thousands less than the highest one). Usually that's a red flag, but they've been around for decades, and the equipment was a well known name brand that I had in my last house. I gave them the go ahead on a Tuesday, and they were on the job Wednesday! It was a tough replacement job because the indoor equipment (the air handler - basically the A-coil, a fan, and control board) had been boxed in, with walls less than a foot away on all 4 sides, and only a 4 by 2 foot access panel on one wall. So it definitely took some extra effort and time to even get the old system out, much less install a new one, which was 3" taller. Several guys quoting even said they'd likely have to make the opening bigger. The installers did struggle some, and had to literally cut apart the old unit, but were able to complete the job without any changes or damage to the opening. They did a professional job (I'm an engineer and have owned quite a few houses, so know what to look for), and I only had to sweep up a bit, and program my new thermostat after they left. Obviously I'm very happy with what they did and what it cost, and highly recommend Total Comfort.

They came here twice the first time they checked nothing but the freon level and said it was just low so they added one pound. The ac stopped working 2 days later. The second time they came the guy wasnt hear 10 minutes and said the system was low on freon and must have a leak. Ne never checked for a leak or did anything else just said well your coil is bad. I asked how he knew to which he replied I've been doing this for years I nust know that's what is wrong. They called back a couple of days later and informed us that the coil would cost 5 thousand dollars lol. Theres no coil in a house that costs that. We called another air conditioning company and this guy was awesome he said that our freon was fine plus checked for leaks everywhere and gave us his phone number because he thinks it's a blower motor or board but wouldn't know which til it freezes up again. He said he would charge 5 grand and give us a complete new system. Almost died of laughter after hearing 5 grand for a coil.
