Last minute call out to them and they were out to us in literally 1 hour. Amazing guys. Kevin, the owners son (and is one of the owners himself) came out and personally rescued us from a long 4 day 4th of July heat-scorched weekend! Thank you for coming out so quickly!

These folks have helped me out a bunch of times over the last 7 or 8 years and I highly recommend them. They even once came out on a New Year's Eve when it was in the single digits and my furnace wasn't producing heat. On top of all that, they're always giving me great tips on how to increase air flow and cooling/heating in my home and have never pressured me to do anything that wasn't absolutely necessary.
Last night our heat went out in the middle of the night on one of the coldest nights this winter. We have a 2 year old and a baby, and the temp was down to 56 in the house. We called the emergency number and Dave was here within 25 minutes. He was kind, patient, professional and fixed our problem quickly. We truly appreciate Colton’s responsiveness and professionalism and will without a doubt use them for any future HVAC needs. Thanks again!

They replaced my furnace and water heater. They had to customize some of the parts for the furnace, as it is located in a very tight space. It is perfect! They actually care about their quality of work and their customers. They covered my carpeting and flooring, so they would not track any dirt into my home. They worked with my smart phone thermostat easily. They are VERY knowledgeable and do not try to convince you to make a purchase. They are honest. I thought I also needed new duct work in the attic. They told me the current duct work just needed repair and fixed it instead. They also installed my water heater over the Thanksgiving holiday without charging me an extra fee. They are very neat and detailed. Their prices are very reasonable too. I couldn't be any happier with their work.

I can't say enough good things about this company. A father and son team who work diligently, cheerfully efficiently and RESPECTFULLY to take care of all my needs. I have used the Colton team for the entire 10 years I have owned my Wheaton condo and I have never found their services lacking in any manner or form. They replaced the entire a/c side of my aging unit a very reasonable price (if there is such a thing) and in a very short period of time. Your heating/ac is the single most expensive appliance in your household and it doesn't pay to cut corners with service and maintenance on the unit. Do yourself a favor and develop a relationship with this company NOW, before small problems turn into major issues and the "you know what" hits the fan!

I've used Colton twice now and would recommend them to anyone searching for a heating & cooling company. They're awesome! Kevin arrived within hours of calling for my furnace blowing cold air on an extremely cold February day. He was kind, courteous, and fixed the issue quickly, which was a relief with a newborn baby in the house. Fast forward to July, Kevin once again rescued us when my furnace was leaking water as a result of a 30 year old AC unit needing to be replaced. He helped fix the problem for the short term, which was much appreciated in the 90+ degree weather. He answered all of my many questions and seemed genuinely happy to explain how AC works. A couple days later, they returned to install a new AC unit. I'm happy with all the interactions my family has had with Colton Heating & Cooling and will use them again for future HVAC needs.
We have used Colton since moving to the area in 2005 for work in two different homes. Always responsive and always thorough. Last month we hired Colton to upgrade our entire HVAC system in a home that was built in 1887. For the first time since moving in here, the upstairs is cool and comfortable! Dave and Kevin brought a thoughtful, solution based approach that has the upstairs at 72 degrees on a 90 degree day. I just got our CommEd bill and it is actually lower than in the past! Outstanding!
