The whole team is great. The quote was straight forward. They installed my mom's system and I couldn't be happier. Great communication and very efficient.
The technician (Edward P) got right to the problem and explained what needed to be done. A part needed to be ordered but he did a temporary "work around" to ensure that we would have heat in the mean time. Part came the next day and work was completed to my total satisfaction. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

Aaron & Trecker got back to me within 12 hours of my request submitted on their website. The appointment for a new thermostat and April Aire system was scheduled in a timely manner. The technician was pleasant, thorough and professional. The folks at Aaron & Trecker made me aware of rebates, which helped on the already reasonable cost of the install. I would highly recommend this company for HVAC services. They have a loyal customer in me.

Our air conditioner died in the middle of Chicago summer - a different HVAC company was playing games with us for 3 weeks, so we quickly called Pat and the team at Aaron & Trecker. They were lifesavers! Pat gave me a detailed quote within hours, and took the time to answer all of my questions and gave a thorough explanation of the work required and estimated timing. The following day, his team showed up early in the morning to complete the installation. The install team was professional, efficient, clean, and made the process seamless. After 3 weeks not getting anywhere with other companies, Aaron & Trecker had a brand new system installed and running within 48 hours of initial contact. Could not recommend them more, and we will definitely be using them for HVAC service and maintenance for years to come.

I am the office manager for a local medical practice, and on a Saturday two weeks ago, our office staff discovered that our furnace was not working when they came to work that morning. We had been using the same HVAC company for 15 years, so we called them to come out for an emergency service call. We were told that the soonest they could get there was Monday, which was unacceptable. We had 4 hours of patients coming in that day, who we did not want to have to deal with a freezing office, as well as our staff/doctor. We called Aaron & Trecker, who are local to us, and Greg called back very quickly, and said he could be there in an hour to do an emergency service call. Once he got there, he discovered that our furnace blower motor was shot, and immediately replaced it. What was so distressing about this whole situation was that our regular HVAC company had been out to our office a week before, and did our 6 month servicing, and did not have the filter with them that needed to be replaced for our specialized HVAC system (that they had installed the year before), and promised to come back, and still hadn't by the time our blower motor went a week later. I was due to call them that Monday to ask why they had not come back yet with the new filter. While I don't know that the reason the blower motor went out was because of our regular HVAC company not replacing our filter when they should have, what I did know was that I no longer wanted to deal with a company that couldn't do an emergency service call until Monday. At that point, I asked Greg to quote us a yearly service contract, and the following Monday, his coworker Lucas reached out to me with a quote/contract. The owner of our practice was so impressed by them that they asked them to service their home, and Aaron & Trecker was there the next day, and again, quoted a great price. Patrick and his team did an amazing job at installing our new heating system! We had a situation that needed an immediate change. After getting quotes from other companies, we decided to go with A&T because it was clear Patrick cared about the quality of service he would provide and was needed for our home. He was able to move some scheduling around to accommodate the emergent needs of our install. We look forward to getting our new AC unit installed by A&T this spring!
I started using Aaron & Trecker when my old furnace went out last winter after not having it maintained for several years (my fault). They have been so easy to work with, responsive, courteous and helpful! Just had a new furnace installed and plan on having them do my AC in the spring.

Aaron & Trecker has provided excellent service for our home's HVAC needs! I highly recommend them for anyone searching for an HVAC company! We recently moved into a home we are renovating with the original HVAC (from the 90's) and Aaron & Trecker quickly came out to evaluate all of our systems for us. Their representative, Patrick Carr, has been exceptional to work with! He took the time to explain to us all of our options in servicing or replacing our HVAC. We elected to replace the furnace and the AC based on the age of the systems and couldn't have been happier with the professionalism of their tech team that handled the installation. They also conducted maintenance on our tankless water system for us! Mr. Carr communicated with us every step of the way to make sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted (and needed) to ensure our home was safe and functioning optimally. After pulling multiple quotes to replace our furnace, AC, and water heater, we are glad we went with Aaron & Trecker. Every step of the process with Aaron & Trecker was seamless. Patrick Carr did a fantastic job explaining the options we had and working with us to find the right setup that met our budget. He is a very nice person, very responsive, and knows his stuff. The installation day was busy with a full crew working on removal of old equipment and carefully bringing in and installing the new equipment. We went from a regular efficiency furnace to a high efficiency furnace which required them to run new pvc for the air intake and venting. We are happy with how they handled the venting and intake. Overall, we are happy with our new water heater, furnace and AC. We went with an Amana furnace and AC system and it’s working great and our electricity use went down after replacing our old 10 seer AC. I highly recommend Aaron & Trecker!
I am extremely impressed with the late night service done on my air conditioner that went out during a recent extended hot spell. Jim found the problem quickly and fixed it. He was polite and listened to my concerns. Thanks!
Excellent professionals. My AC broke down so I called. They immediately sent a person over who repaired it within an hour. My AC was 20+ years old so he recommended for a new install. I agreed. Today two people from same company came and installed new AC. They did great job. Very friendly and professional. Am very happy with their service
Today I learned I'm not even good enough for a quote. It would appear that if Patrick Carr, Sales Manager, can't give you a nice upsell to their particular brand of equipment, he doesn't want you wasting his time. And that's FINE...except that's not what he told me when I called. I called Aaron & Trecker to come give me a quote on a residential AC and furnace replacement. For reference, quotes on this job are running in the range of $8,000 - $10,000 so far. So this isn't some piddly little job that isn't worth putting any effort into. I was clear with Patrick on the phone BEFORE booking an appointment of my interest in Goodman brand products and why. On the phone he was glowing about Goodman. "Great products, I have it in my own home, no problems in 8 years." OK so wonderful, come give me a quote, we're all having a good time so far. No mention at that time of "We only sell a certain brand, if you want Goodman God bless but we won't do it." I thought these were probably the guys I'd book if I had to bet on it. So Patrick came out yesterday and took a look at things and we discussed some of the options. Now he wants to talk me out of Goodman, now it's not so fun and we don't wanna be air conditioner twins and have Goodman at both our houses. He knew I was getting multiple quotes and kept asking "What are you hoping we can do for you that others can't?" I told him on the phone and in person, I'm looking for the job to be done by trustworthy pros at a fair price, and I have certain products that I want. Hence my interest in the product line I discussed with him on the phone. Never did we discuss a price I was/wasn't willing to pay for the all-in job. Never did my "expectations" say I wanted the cheapest piece of junk that rolls of the line someplace. I'm planning to install good, 2-stage equipment for both furnace and AC. I'm not the guy who says, "Don't try to sell me nothin', do the job all wrong at my rock bottom price!" The pros say I need certain things l
I needed a new furnace/AC ad well as a new water heater. The furnace was being upgraded to high efficiency sealed combustion and the water heater to a powered vent. Additionally, I wanted the water heater relocated. I should point I design commercial HVAC systems for a living. I received quotes from 4 contractors. 2 of the other contractor gave me quotes before they left my house..one then revised it in his car and emailed it to me before he left. Patrick at Aaron & Trecker was the only one that put time in the quote. He was personable and knowledgeable. We reviewed and revised the quote to fit within my budget. The installation team was fantastic. They were very professional, helpful and also very personable. I could not be happier with the finished installation Highly recommended!!

We had a great experience with Aaron & Trecker. Patrick did a terrific job of listening to our needs and concerns, offering multiple options that addressed them, and explaining all of the options to us. Once we selected a system, it was installed quickly and immediately started to save us money on our heating bill. We also appreciated that Patrick checked in on us to see how our system was working after it was installed. The system continues to work great, and we plan to continue using Aaron & Trecker for our yearly maintenance.
