They let me down, right when it counted most.
Called to get a replacement for the 6ft 3/8" gas line that connects to my grill after my dog decided to chew through it. Figured I would call a local company to fix the issue. Got an appointment and waited 2 weeks. The tech showed up and explained it would just be parts and labor and then left to get the part (keep in mind that I had communicated was needed when I set up this appointment), returned 45 min later and installed the part in less than 5 min. Then had the nerve to charge me 335 dollars claiming there was a 'diagnostic' fee (really hard to figure that out AND this was originally communicated), a minimum time charge for the service visit despite it taking 5 minutes and 0 skill to connect, and 100+ dollars for a 65 dollar part (as listed on FW Webbs own website where the tech had to drive to get pick it up instead of coming prepared and saving everyone time). Decided to call and speak with the service manager who refused to budge and stood by the ridiculous charges justifying them as the cost of doing business. It was only after threatening to dispute the charge did he even offer anything... $50 off a furnace cleaning... LOL. Finally I said come take the part back and refund me. The same tech showed up less than 15 minutes later to disconnect the hose... all for an incredibly simple issue that could have been solved in far less time for all parties involved. Further, not only were the charges not communicated up front, but they are wildly out of proportion with reality, they are dishonest and unfair to the customer. That is not the mark of a company I want to do business with and nor should one anyone else.
Technician did a great job restarting my furnace and was ver prompt . My family and I were freezing. Thanks again!

Review is for their customer service for oil, I haven't used them for anything else yet. I let my oil tank run out by accident... when I called my local oil company, they shamed me because I had stopped auto-delivery with them due to the high prices. Thomaston Oil on the other hand, was friendly and kind, she did everything she could to see who might already be in the area and able to get here same-day, while still being competitive in pricing. Thank you!!

The service technician Jason was excellent. He came out right away to fix an oil leak. He called me to keep me in the loop to what he did. He was quick and the bill was reasonable. Thank you Jason and Thomaston Oil!
Great experience with this company. Very prompt and competitive prices. I have to be honest and also reply to a review on here.. I made the same mistake as the guy with 2 tanks and thought I didn’t get the amount of oil I paid for because it didnt read right away on my gauge. I should always just listen to my husband who says it takes several hours for the 2 tanks to level out and give an accurate reading! Please mr. … please take down your bad review, I’m sure your tanks leveled out eventually and gave an accurate reading. Bad reviews hurt business and especially if it’s undeserved

I had my furnace replaced and i get my oil from thomaston oil. However furnace went down over night knew it needed a nozzle and filter replaced which is what we told them. Had I known the price for 45 minutes of work i would have waited and got someone else. Every other place i called gave me a quote of 200 or less and they werr coming from out of town. Way over priced
We made a first time home owner mistake and let our oil run out in December. My mother in law has been using Thomaston Oil for years and she told me they never ever let her down especially in emergencies. I called them that morning at 7:30am and explained our mistake. Diane had a driver/tech out to us at 9am. Will definitely continue using Thomaston Oil from now on!!
Used Thomaston for years. They installed out furnace. I called after a 5 year hiatus for moving away for graduate school and was told we had to "re-establish a relationship as a customer." Yeah, no. Called another highly rated oil company and saved $.45 a gallon as my husband is a veteran. Not going to waste my time. Truly not a customer now.
I've been using Thomaston oil since I moved to town two years ago. They always provide fast and friendly service at fair prices. Highly Recommend.

I called on a Saturday after I stupidly let my tank run out of fuel oil. They were kind, courteous and got me up and running only 2 hours after calling! They were also significantly less expensive than local competitors even with the emergency delivery charge.
Thomaston oil did a great job with our oil delivery. They advertised one of the lowest prices for Thomaston residence and showed up when they said they did, I recommend them.
1 full week to get oil delivered, unbelievable. Told multiple days in a row that it would be delivered that day. Why mislead people? If your incapable of filling the order in a reasonable amount of time than just say so. Fool me once shame on you... I'm going back to cash heating oil and next day service
