Eric and his team are the real deal. True experts. We have used Eric many times over the past year as we manage many properties and he is #1) always quick to respond #2)punctual and prompt as promised #3) expert in the field #4)priced fair.

We had instances where other HVAC contractors recommended replacing the entire boiler systems but Eric managed to dig deeper into the root of the issue and finding the problem, saving us thousands! He's a great HVAC contractor.

My father-in-law was told he needed to have his furnace replaced. We asked Eric to give us a second opinion. He made a few repairs and cleaned it. We were stunned. Fast, reliable and honest. What more could you want?

Saved my family and I by coming out to fix our furnace when our house was below 20 degrees. He was very nice, upfront, and honest. Other repair places were telling us we would have to wait a week but he was able to help us out in a pinch especially with the huge snow storm that was coming. Will be a repeat customer for any future services!

Couldn't be happier with the work. He overcame unexpected challenges with the basement floor. Ductwork was neatly rerouted and tucked away. He provided me with useful advice on dehumidification in the basement that won't cost me a fortune. Hoffner is clearly committed to the work and getting things done right. Worked with Hoffner to get Heat/AC units installed in my home. It took weeks for them to call me back to schedule the work after they agreed to do it. Once we schedule a time, they pushed my installation back again because a bigger client called them and needed work done. They told me that after I spent a whole day waiting for them while they ignored my calls.

When they finally got around to me, the units they installed have had nothing but problems since they were put in. They even warned me when they left the first day to call right away if there was a problem, probably because they knew it was set up incorrectly. They’ve been back 6-8 times to “fix” things that haven’t worked. Every time they had to come back had the same “when we get around to it” attitude.

The AC isn’t working again now and I called someone else to look at it. The lines for the system are installed completely wrong and leaking the whole way down. There’s no refrigerant left in the system. They also didn’t seal the area where the lines enter the house, so there’s just a hole to the outside in my bedroom. They never covered the lines with drain pipe for aesthetic value like they said they would either.

It’s still “under warranty” with Hoffner but it’s clear they’re incapable of doing this right. It’s going to cost me $2000 to have a competent provider reinstall the system correctly.

My experience with this local, family owned/run company was excellent from start to finish! They are a true family bunisess who really values their customers. We replaced our 33 year old furnace and added central air and a humidifier. Our house is 90 years old, but already had forced air ductwork. Eric, Chad, and Erica bent over backwards to work around our crazy schedules for the estimate and the installation. They did not try to sell us a bunch of upgrades we didn’t need, and the price was fair with no surprises. When they did the installation, they were courteous, on time, and respectful of our home and space. My only complaint is that this June hasn’t been hot enough to run the AC much, but if the Hoffners could control the weather in addition to their great work and service, they would be too good to be true!

I have used Hoffner heating and air twice now since We’ve moves into our new home. They were very quick to respond to our matter. Price was more than reasonable and would use them again. Highly recommended and family owned.
