AC repair was needed because my air conditioning would not come on. Emergency Maintenance Company came out to my home to fix my central air conditioning unit because I clicked the switch and nothing happened. Changed the batteries in the thermostat and still nothing. So, I called these guys. They came out and said something was fried in my AC they replaced whatever it was and my old unit is blowing like new.

My boyfriend and I have been living in our home for 7 years and never had a probably with our AC but a few days ago we noticed that the lower half of the house was cooling but the upstairs was super hot. We tried everything we could think of to fix it ourselves but nothing worked. Finally, we called this place. They did a good job.

Super satisfied with air conditioning maintenance that I received from this company. My home warranty company sent them out because my ac unit was not blow any cold air, nothing at all. They sent someone out to my home who fixed it, now its better than it was before, thanks guys great work!

I needed to get the duct pipes cleaned up as I hadn't done it ever since I bought the apartment. I did some research on Yelp found a few companies including this one but ended up choosing this one because HVAC Philadelphia was closest to my home in philly as they were prompt to answer my emails with detailed answers.

The crew arrived on time and completed the clean up within 2 hours (I have 6 vents).

Called the company to have my kitchen garbage disposer serviced. They had a servicemen come out the very next day. He checked my disposer and told me that it's repairable, but is over 10 years old. I despised to have it replaced. Technician had a premium brand in his truck. Job well done. Will use this company again!

So much better than our old AC repair company in Philadelphia. Fixed our unit and it works as good as new. Since they repaired our ac unit it blows so cold and cools the house super fast. Best HVAC company in Philadelphia.

Edit#2 could it be more clear you pay for reviews? The 5 star reviews all review the same places in Philadelphia and/or review you and 6 other places across the nation.

The problem is, I dont know what warranty company pays you for installs, and I dont care. If its not enough, you should probably decline the work. The $700 ($585+ $100 "deductible") charge you wanted is outrageous and you know it. Thats a standard install labor price when its not covered by any warranty. You want what warranty pays you plus full retail labor rate for install.

1 1/8" height difference no where near necessitates a $600 additional charge.

Install was done with about $10 worth of copper fittings and 2" gas line pipe. Used same exact flue pipe.

Came out for Home warranty replacement of hot water heater. Attempted to charge an additional $600 of "uncovered" repair work.
$90 Disposal
$165 Water line modification
$145 Gas line mod
$95 exhaust Mod
$90 Helper fee
I asked why, they told me new water tank would be different dimension. I asked what would the dimension be. They wouldn't answer, because truth is, new tanks are exactly the same size.

Short story, no water line mod necessary, no gas mod necessary, used same exact exhaust vent, and trash truck took heater for free.
Beware. there seems to be a pattern with home warranty work and how they operate.

Very dissatisfied with the service. This company was assigned to handle my home warranty claim for a furnace. Tech initially blamed the problem on a clogged chimney, which was not the case. Chimney was drafting fine. Tech restarted heater but did nothing to diagnose the root cause of the failure. Tech left the heater with a large crack in the heat exchanger which should have been shut down and condemned. When a second company was called in to service the unit, they immediately diagnosed a crack heat exchanger and then visually confirmed the crack. Get a second opinion after this company leaves or you might find yourself with more problems down the road

My mothers old hot water heater was only producing lukewarm water most of the time and it was making a loud knocking sound. EMC installed a tankless water heater in and it works like a dream. Hot water on demand, no waiting and no loud knocking. The price was about what I had expected and the service was better than what I expected. It was a pleasure to work with them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! If you are reading this its probably because you are tired of being swindled by your home warranty company sending shoddy technicians out to your home and failing to diagnose your issues. This company has a rating of 30 of of a possible 800 on the scale that is used to rate them!!!! They were sent out 3 times to look at our HVAC sending each time never hooking up to the unit to check refrigerant level. After demanding a different company come out and look at our issue I was blatantly told, after looking over his shoulder the entire time, that the system is leaking in numerous places and should be OBVIOUS to any tech in the HVAC business. They send techs out, collect your deductible, put bandages on your system and wait for the next call to return and collect more money. HORRIBLE way of doing business. This is why they need home warranty companies to give them business!!! They can't stand on their own 2 legs!!!!!
